The Homework Grind: Why Kids Today Still Need It More Than Ever

I can't forget those days when I was kid and had to go school everyday but that wasn't the worst part cause we used to go with our own will

but when it was time to go home you'd just be upset after realising that there's homework to do since the teacher thought what you've studied at school isn't enough already so now you've to do more at home

That too with parents or at tutor so it was a deadly thing back then and now these are just the memories.

The horrors of doing homework back then

It was a lot different back then when I was kid and I had school homework - those were the days when all the teacher used to be present

And take classes on regular basis, give homework not once or twice in a week but every single day

It was painful as far I remember because when I used to arrive at home that first thing that used to pop up into my mind was when I'm gonna do homework

Which subject I should finish first and I knew math is going to be the last one I'd do homework cause it wasn't me Vs math but me vs my mother.

Beating Yourself for the Homework?

Sometimes I used to be so pissed in the middle of homework like it was rage that got me over in the mid and now I can't even stop working on it

Till I finish cause mom said so and when she's helping me do maths it used to be a war cause if I do 2+2 = 5 than I knew her fingers would be printed on my face

Cause that's the kind of Asian parenting back then and even now some are still same.

but it built the base that I needed

Years of coping that I have to do homework turned out well when I realised I've started to spell everything correctly, can do maths quickly

And got better at studies that was the moment I knew homework really laid my foundation which is mostly worked by my mom

Cause she was my tutor at home and spent a lot of time on me

Homework really improves your concept and makes you understand everything better with your own perspective not just what teacher told you...you get enough time at home to look for the details or just do homework quickly and play games, works both ways.

so homework is necessary

Nowadays it's a lot more needed to have homework for kids cause all they do is play video games and scroll on social media

Teacher don't pay as much attention as it used to be like nor parents pay that much attention

They'll just send you to a tutor which wasn't the case here

Homework kind of prepares you and help you get better so it's like that you're preparing for tomorrow already.. helps prepare exam way before the final terms.

Wrapping Up...

In the end I kinda want to see who's against the homework here on hive and want to know the reason since I know how it felt like doing homework but can't really avoid the bright side of it

So you can get rid of it in this era. HT it won't be same without it.
