The Hidden Dangers of Unfiltered Internet: A Personal Journey

I sometimes wonder how life would've been if I didn't have any idea what's going up on this internet side of the world especially back when I was a kid.

Usually we all are like f***** censorship but in this case I wished it was all censored and didn't existed in the first place on internet or anywhere.

That's the kid version of me saying after seeing some nakey photo in friends mobile who bought it in school secretly and hid from everyone just to show what goes behind the scene during the break time.

It's about that time when I was in 7th grade or something and before that moment I was innocent kid with some traumas.

Keeping internet Safe for Kids is easy now

Now after years later I think we can keep internet safe for our children by simply being responsible and even without monitoring kid all the time what he's doing or what kind of content is being consumed.

Back then friend heard from someone and that someone heard from someone else and it circulated like that to each others - everyone saw the content they shouldn't.

But today there's way to make internet safe for kids like You can go to Google settings add keywords for searches that shouldn't be allowed and totally restrict from accessing it.

Also now there's kid version of everything like YouTube Kid.

I'm totally against of letting kids use platform that are mostly used by adults like Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook etc.

The Owners of Platforms should be held responsible who's consuming what

It's not that the parents can always watch what their kids are doing on the internet and it should be platforms responsibility to come up with restrictions and censor all kind of things that aren't appropriate for a kid.

And it's internet where there's a lot of websites and platforms you can access easily without any restrictions at all.

They don't care if it's adult or kid, what matter for them is money and traffic coming in.

Talking about Censorship, learn from Government

Nowadays there's weird experiments going on in the country like government spent $300 million to make a firewall so they can censor, restrict all kind of content that goes against the government or country.

So the internet isn't working like normal, it's more slow these days.

It's all fun and games until you post something that goes against the government or army and the next day you'll be picked up by some unknown people in the car and after that you won't going to do same mistake.

Only if they spend that much time to make internet more better place and safe for kids.. it'd be better but nah, everyone goes after that one thing which will give them benefits. No one cares about a generation getting destroyed on internet because of what they're consuming everyday.

Wrapping Up...

In the end all we can do to protect loved ones from internet cancer is to just filter and add keywords to restrict searches/content..

By only allowing to access kids platforms like YouTube kids or Games.. nothing else makes sense for a kid on internet in this woke world and culture that's spreading on internet.
