Stressed Out and Sold Out: Inside GenZ's Battle with Inflation, Low Wages, and a Broken System

I don't get much time to scroll or be active on internet as I used to be back then. I'd say peak time when I was active on internet was 2021-2024 and I realised what my priorities are in the last year

So I reduced my screen time pretty much to nothing like now I only stay active for two or three hours on internet

Compared to almost 13-14 hours of active screen time back in the days. I'd be active again once the things are as established and good as it used to be.

When you're trying new things in life, it takes time to create the worklife balance and I'm mostly struggling to find that work life balance.

But nowadays whenever I open twitter (X) it feels like everyone in crypto has realised it's just not something to take way too seriously like it won't retire you, you're supposed to put that efforts somewhere else.

GenZ has suffered losses due to Crypto

A couple of months ago I talked about how boomers were lucky with all the opportunities they had over the decade and even now as the gold, silver, real estate is all going up only

While GenZ, most of them are into crypto suffered massive losses and it'll keep on happening cause GenZ doesn't have that power

Like the world is being run by boomers so you can't just pick crypto and expect boomers to reward you that too while you're against the boomers.

Now the shift is happening like GenZ are waking up to the fact that crypto isn't something to take seriously in this life.

Treat it more like a trend? Move on to other trend and when there's a season, join it and just take a ride like everyone else but actively spending 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days in this space isn't worth it?

More Like a Stressed Gen?

Whatever people try to tell you, GenZ isn't lucky in any way because it only got worse all these years

We are talking about the basics that used to be more affordable back then compared to now. For a student alone, affording university is a luxury

Rents are skyrocketing, inflation is too high already and time is slipping out so genZ thinks they've already failed.

I've seen graduated people working for a wage that is below their pay grade like they've spent thousands on a degree just to get paid in shekels.

Politicians are nothing more than a burden and this gen truly got lazy because of internet that they won't protest for anything.

Everyone knows the system is wrong and rigged, bad things will happen and economic crisis will eventually happen but no one seems to be panicking because they are already living miserably so how worse it can get? Will survive that too somehow.
