Sibling Teases and Childhood Fears: What If You Really Were Adopted?
Back then as a child it was like "questioning entire existence" if what they're saying is actually true and in response what I've seen is child getting upset about it and asking other to shut up with the lies.
Now after growing up if i had to go through a similar "I'm adopted" phase than the entire reaction would be different.
It's either going to be how on earth I couldn't see all that truth Infront of my eyes or I'm the most luckiest person to ever have them as my parents since the real one don't deserve me at all (if situation).
How I'll react if found I'm adopted
My whole life will be a lie if something like this come up.. all those memories and stuff did together with parents going to remind you how come you didn't realised this earlier.

Honestly it depends on how your parents have treated you in your life all those year since adoption. If I've been treated badly compared to rest of siblings than it's gonna hurt when it'll make sense "oh now I know why they treated me like that".
But when they did treated you the right way like their own child, that person is eventually the luckiest one on this planet and their biological parents are the unluckiest one to not have you in life.
Questioning every choices
After realising you're adopted first thing most people will going to do is "question" every choices parents made for them

"Oh you didn't wanted me to pursue this career or skill because you don't want anything good for me" is going to be most realistic reaction if those choices were bad.
But eventually they're good when even after questioning yourself "if they made those choices good for me or nah" and you see all those are good.. what's the other reason you could find to hate on them?
You won't stop till finding a reason to hate
You being adopted is never going to be a "reason" to hate because they did you a favour by taking care of you and raising like your own child
But again just because they didn't told truth.. you'll just try to find that one reason to hate them and create a drama about it.
Wrapping Up...
In the end in our society I've not seen that "adoption" culture.. like no parents leave their child for someone else and every parent raise their own at expense.
While growing up we get told many time how much money they've spent on our education, medicine etc since we are born. So, typical Asian parenting is more like how some parents treat their adopted child though I'd love to know what's your thoughts about it in the comments.

These "you were adopted" jokes seem all fun and games till it actually lands on us really. Suddenly we're all alone in this world. Life becomes harder.
