Raising a Man: The Unseen Battles of a Single Mom

All of those people who have parents are definitely the luckiest people in the world because there are so many of us who grew up with no parents or have single parent

Not everyone have a family that's just happy, there's toxic parents and also in cases where parents have took separation living two different lives but also those people who have lost parents when they were just kid.

All of these scenarios does effect child in every possible way; Worse or Good it all depends on the situation and the way child had up bringing.

I'm also someone who grew up without father, so all I had is my mother who raised me up from the beginning and I can tell you it wasn't easy at all and that childhood was quite harsh, yea what are those effects when there's one parent absent from a kid's life.

Growing Up Without father

I'm the eldest boy in the family and I was like a kid and don't remember much, have no memories that I remember clearly when my father left

So from that moment till now it was all my mom, she is like the whole world to me.

And I've seen her struggles since the beginning even though I was kid but I've noticed all those struggles and it made me mature and grow up a lot quicker than most of the kids.

I knew the life we're living is a lot different than other kids, like when there's some other kid meeting their father I kinda used to feel weird about it

That was just a weird emotions I've lived through with but have to give my mom big prop's because the way she raised me is like no one else could've did it any better.

Took responsibility of my education, I remember those days when I used to comeback from school and she was still at work in my childhood

When I took my responsibility at that age

While i was growing up it built that desire and dream of protecting my mom from every troubles and do fulfil all her dreams

Compared to other kids, I was that kind of kid who was kind - like you can't find one complaint about me from anyone that's how she raised me

So I always wanted to take responsibility and tell my mom not to worry about anything else

By the time I was in grade 8th, I started working already to support my family and everyone at work used to kind of make jokes about I won't last at work for more than 3 days because I'm too young for it but I did that work from 8th grade to 10th.

Later COVID arrived, she was at home and so was I.. had to make living and I just did what I could on internet like from the beginning to now I've did everything not to let her down.

The Job's Not done Until

The only support I needed and ever got in life is from my mom and she did made all those stupid wishes come true that cost a lot money

And all I can do with this life of mine is to make her wishes, dream come true - I know each one of them, like when she talks about those things I already know it's what she wants to have

So yea, I've to make it in this life and there's no other way around. I don't want to end up as a disappointment, or fail in one thing that's like my entire world.

Wrapping Up...

In the end if I had to live one more life I'd wish it to be with my mom cause she's the only parents I needed. Maybe, I'm emotionally weak, I trust people easily, I don't hurt anyone, never learnt to say a lie

Or never smoked or stuff like that, always was told to be in good company - be fair to everyone

And yea I think mom's are what makes our life better and easier as we grow up. A kid without father grow up a lot faster and becomes a lot better person when it's upbringing is done by mom and no one can change my mind about it cause it's a fact but still I'd love to know what's your thoughts about it, do share in the comments.
