Jobs in the Age of AI: Where Automation Fits and Where It Fails

image using Ai.

The reality is AI will replace most of humans even if we want it or not, this is happening Infront of our eyes and after seeing Nvidia conference recently

We're getting closer and closer to the time when people jobs will be replaced by Ai and now there's not just computers anymore.

Nvidia and every Ai giant company is working on supercomputers and quantum one's that would replace normal ones and will solve most of problems without human touch and it scared some of bitcoiners because it might be possible to crack seeds phrase or bitcoin security in coming years.

Will Humans decides which Job Ai can take or not?

Everyone knows who's creating Ai and bringing into our life, "humans" but do they really know if it's human deciding which jobs or which ways these Ai will replace us or it's going to be Ai?

I mean these machines and algorithms have ability to learn and adapt which is also being said it's going to be quick process

So won't be surprised if they make decisions on their own if they're capable to do that job or us human. It is quite scary to think about "who's really going to be decision maker" we human or the Ai in next two decades or maybe less.

But if it's human who always gonna have upper hand on these machines and we can draw down where Ai can do job and where humans are going to be than it's still going to be much better world.

And if it was upto me, I'd like to see Ai doing these jobs instead of humans

Ai Driving Uber like services

I know there's a lot of humans doing Uber and delivery jobs etc right now in the world and it pays off for loans, students make living and help save money on the side

But sometimes those interactions with drivers are way too weird

There's also cases where Uber or local drivers tried to kidnap, harass customer and there's mostly some sort of heated argument, so many scams with tourists

So based on these experiences I think it's just the matter of time (10 years) or more before Ai completely replace human from Uber and these pick-up and drop like services.

Ai replacing customer support and salesperson services

Shopping experience is already changed because of internet now people order everything from home

But still when you go outdoors in shop or malls you'll see salesperson standing and guiding you through it

There's no problem in that and they're always gentle, show respect to customers

This job should stay like this but I can't avoid the fact that these people stand for hours and it just doesn't justify the amount they get paid

So it'd be more better if you see Ai robots standing in shop and guide human when they're shopping.

And customer support is definitely one Job Ai should replace and can replace easily because of those automated response already exist, most of those are helpful and sort issues at own but one where we need to talk with real human is next thing that'll be fixed by Ai

And I think we're there because in crypto these Ai agents are already doing that kind of customer support thing better than most human do.

Ai flying planes?

Not the fan of this thought that Ai should fly airplanes but after seeing recent incidents of crash

I think there's much need of Ai + Human pilot at the same time.

Like I know Auto pilot is a thing in planes but that's not the point I want Ai to be like Jarvis, same Ai we have seen in Ironman suit

Helping him all the times on different command, so same thing with planes means it could tell where the issue is with plan, if there's emergency instead of crashing it should fix something like that so we don't see planes crashing anymore.

Jobs Ai should never Take

The few things that are always meant for human and not for Ai is health related operations like I'm never going to trust Ai with my life

If there's a bullet in my body, it's supposed to be the doctor taking care of it, won't trust Ai

Yea Ai can help with research for disease and viruses cure but not in treatment.

Also I'd never trust Ai doing my haircut, it's always going to be barbers who do horrible job sometimes but still they're not causing harm

I won't risk my head because Ai had a glitch in the system so it's accuracy went a little meh become the reason of death.

And there's more practical fields like this where it's always going to be human who can perform tasks way effectively than any Ai.

Wrapping Up...

In the end I don't want to see Ai replacing humans doing job because we all have needs and have to provide family

But can't deny the fact that there are people actively building algorithms and Ai to make it happen so people don't have to do ordinary things

Either we'll adapt and become sharper in next coming decades or it's going to make us lazy, stay at home do nothing and remain unemployed.

Like what's the difference between trading coins in crypto and being unemployed? It's the same thing so I guess we should focus on working on skills and create opportunities around us.

I'd love to know what's your thoughts are about it and which jobs AI should take or not from human. Do share it in the comments.

Artificial intelligence for a reason and like the name implies, it will always be a replica of the original design who are humans. I don't think AI will replace humans completely in job areas. I believe that the more innovative it gets with AI, the farther humans will go with self improvement.

Maybe but yea I won't underestimate what I can do right now is already insane. So in next two decades it's only going to be more advanced and scary.

Yeah, AI's advancement is greatly dependent on how far humans innovate
