From Chains to Cubicles: How Modern Slavery Still Controls Us

The idea that we're free is just an illusion created for us to stay functioning and keep on doing whatever they want from us like back then slavery was a thing

and people who were slave had no say to anything, not being able to live your life the way you want, always have to be around your "master" and pleasing them just to get food

It's almost same nowadays and nothing has changed after all this time even though it's been a long time since they've declared slavery as illegal, crime.

But now we're all modern slaves, some of us are slave of our own thoughts, some are doing 9 to 5 slavery which is no different than pleasing your master and following their footsteps and even I feel like I'm no different than a slave.

Modern day slavery isn't for the Weak

The things around us built to make us work for them like we're following our masters instruction everyday

Whenever I wake up at 7am it's never because I want to wake up but because the work is calling

And after waking up I'll be rushing to work because I don't want to get late cause you don't have enough time

And you're supposed to be on your workplace before your manager walks in

He gets to join late but not you, you can't cause it's how things are.

Everyone on top do have slaves like a CEO is carrying an army of slaves who'd build an empire for that guy but won't work for themselves.

You spend more following instructions than listening yourself

The more time you do a 9 to 5 job the more you'll be running your life on following instructions, it's all good as long as you're giving them instructions, right?

But the moment you flip the board and now you've to follow them than it isn't going to be easy.

I'm not saying doing work means you're a slave

I'm saying doing work that pays you below average like working 9 to 5 for Less than $10 a day

Is what makes you a modern day slave cause you can't even feed your family or yourself with that money

You'll never be able to work on your dreams like that.

And I do feel like a modern slave cause of being in a third world country where you make less than $10 a day, it is off putting and rips your dream apart.

Wrapping Up...

We need to change things for our own good by raising voice against the people that are involved and paying people like they're slave

All these companies and brands who are making load of profit yet they're bullying employees deserves to get Rekt.

In the end who knows the next generation of modern slaves are going to be human or we'll be replaced by the Ai, either way they'll still make more money off it than anything else.
