Forget Degrees — Practical Skills Will Save You When the World Goes Offline

While growing up you find a lot of things interesting and it makes you want to try that like you want to do something that someone else is doing

could be anything, anyone having a skill that you found interesting and later worked on it and pursue it yourself

Nowadays in practical world you must need a practical skill to survive otherwise there's a lot of competition and you can be easily replaced by anyone else if you're not working on those skills.

Let's say there's no internet from tomorrow, you'll be left with that practical skill you've to survive and make money.

How I found out I want to sell

I still remember when I was kid like 5-6 years old at that time my grandma had a shop and she used to run it by herself at her age of 50 or around that

And sometimes I used to go there and sit on the cash counter

Now when she was dealing with the customer it developed that interest like how's she selling those things to people and it should be me

From watching her I wanted to sell things myself and deal with those customers alone and she'd let me return the change from till sometimes and remember I was happy about it

It's been like three years when she retired and closed her shop and trust me she was like 64 years when she left the shop and had ton of experience as an independent lady she always took care of her business herself not taking help from anyone even tho she lived in that shop.

Growing Up I Sold Many Things

I watched her sell things and then decided to do it myself when I sold toys, gadgets and stuff on a stall I made outside my home

And on every 14th August used to sell different things on those events which kind of polished my selling skills.

If it wasn't me doing those side quests in childhood I believe it'd be a lot difficult to sell anything to anyone as of now

And now I've communication skills as well as salesperson

If there's a world wide internet shutdown I won't rely on work I do online instead I'd be selling things to people

Convincing others to buy this or that isn't difficult cause there's always a need and buyer in the market who is willing to pay more

You just have to communicate it throughly to sell the product and even when product is boring you can still play around it.

I guess selling is something that's here to stay no longer how progressive the world will be and Ai will be walking Infront of us, it can't sell better than us.

So relying on your practical skill is kinda better than relying on internet or anything else. I bet there's a lot of people who are doing the same thing, selling products everyday and you can tell it's fun when you close a deal. I'd love to hear your thoughts it in the comments.
