Ditch Meditation: How Staying Busy Crushed My Bad Habits

I have learnt that meditation doesn't always help you to overcome a bad habit or anything that's messing up cause of your that one habit


it takes more than meditation to overcome it, you may have read many books and when it comes to changing habits there's only one book every knows about which is atomic habit

But what could work for someone might not work for you. It's just the fact that we human share experiences and improve ourselves by trying all those methods shared by others.

What worked for me was also different like it wasn't anything mentioned in atomic habit book, tried all that but it wants more from you

No more Medication: Make yourself busy to overcome anything

From time to time we do meditation which is good for us but doesn't really works all the time, not in my case because the way my mind is something I'm still trying to figure out why it always be thinking something and running all the time

So when I realised I have these bad habits that I need to overcome I got many suggestions and advices from people but only one that worked for me was

When someone told me to make yourself busy so you can't even think about anything bad at all.

So luckily I found a job and my entire routine was changed, completely different and found myself working all day and even at night before bed I'm like let me write on hive before I go to bed

That's how I have overcome the habits that was affecting my life.

I needed this routine so bad

From last couple of years I'm a nightowl usually used to stay up till 4 or even 5 in the morning but it's been couple of months since work has got me

And now I can't stay awake more than 12am to be honest even though I force myself to stay up till 12 I'm like always sleepy when I return from work

The body and mind both needs rest after making it busy for entire day.. you're exhausted enough that will eventually make you sleep early.

Tried to sleep early by doing meditation and everything but nothing worked as good as Get busy in your life and see the bad habits vanish in days.

Works like charm not just me but anyone who applies in their life can tell it.


Wrapping Up...

In the end we all want to improve and do things better way in this life and to achieve it we need to push ourselves to the limits we think isn't possible

Our mind is too used to of comfort so a blizzard like routine everyday gets you ongoing and makes you perform better.
