Chinese Tourists Bold Move: Traveling the Globe Without Learning a Word – Genius or Gutsy?

The good thing about being human is that we have our own traditions, values and different languages yet we are all connected to one another in some ways.

we are helpful to each other at times when we need and the fact that there's so many languages and borders yet we are more close now compared to what it was like a decade or two ago.

The only thing that gets better with time is that as human we explore and invent things that makes living more easy.

The World Needs New Languages

Nowadays as the AI is making progress with speed of light we have glasses that could translate other what other person is saying and it's like instant

Words to words coming out of that other person mouth being translated right Infront of your eyes but we need something yet that'd respond back that is already translated for someone who's not wearing any glasses.

But the way ai knows every language and we can speak multiple languages at a time.

I won't mind if the world introduce us to a new language, we all need interesting and new things. We should have updates on earth every once in a while otherwise it gets boring.

I'm a bilingual too

The thing is I speak English because that's the only language you might know and understand but I can speak Urdu, Punjabi and couple of words in Chinese that would be good enough to go on about my day.

I'd put English on D-tier in the tier list and gonna bring Urdu as an S-tier lingo cause it's our language and everyone is gonna respect their own, right? Won't degrade their own to own another language?

People should nowadays work on learning multiple languages more like an hobby not some serious business thing

Since these kind of things are so easily being replaced by ai that you should be spending your time doing something else that's more productive.

It'd be a flex to speak multiple languages without using Ai in the future but it won't make you look dumb when you're using tech as a leverage to live amongst the people.

The Chinese people knows their value

I've had interaction with multiple Chinese tourist that visit us quite often as we are neighbours to china and what I've noticed amongst them all like 90% of those people

Is that they don't know any language other than their own.

If you'll speak English they won't get it, they only knows their own language yet they don't care about visiting other countries and learning a bit of their language.

It's quite extreme like I think it is more smart to learn few things and be aware of the language whenever you travel somewhere.

But it's just their values and own thing but who even needs to learn languages nowadays? Do share what's your thoughts are on this in the comments.
