Chasing the 25th Hour: My Journey to Work-Life Balance in a 9-to-5 World

and turned out once you become important at your workplace there's no way you'll have that mental peace like all you gonna do is live upto other colleagues expectations.
So it's been two weeks now without any off and I'm way too tired and sleepy these days.
Barely getting sleep because my routine is like that one rollercoaster ride, sometimes I had to go at 12pm, sometimes at 9am.
So I'm stuck in the middle and still trying to figure out how come I'll manage 9 to 5, hive and my real life at the same time.
Finding Balance in Life while doing 9 to 5...
Moving forward in next coming months I want to get admission and continue studies along with work and other side hustle like crypto is one of the priority because it pays off bills and helps me with other responsibilities
Now when my responsibilities are going to be twice more than before, I'll have to do better
Kind of tiredlessly working everyday without thinking about results but honestly I'm lacking consistency
Took no leave in last 2 months
I've been more disciplined in life since I've got job because it is keeping me in check like I know tomorrow I'll have to wake up at 7am else I'll be late
And when I reach home I know I've to sleep early and can't spend entire night on phone
This is a good part of job because I want to change some of my habits and it's helping me
But at the same time it's not giving me enough time to focus on family, hive and other projects in crypto
What is that work life balance?
I want to know how do I keep my work life separate from the one I've at home like once I'm back home I want enough time to spend with fam, go out for walk or maybe hit gym
And still be able to use phone and publish blogs, interact with everyone on hive as usual

But it's not possible to do all that because I work 9 hours, 2 hours for traveling
So let's call it 11 hours at work, 6hours of sleep and I only have 7 hours, using mobile phone for like 2 hours each day
And now in those 5 hours I don't know what is possible to do cause of being tired it takes about 2 hours to finish a blog, time slips way too fast and I ain't a machine so can't just function entire day
Now I know why everyone says you get old while working your whole life doing same job and still you're stuck where you've started but still gotta do it to support the family and to keep dreams alive.
Wrapping Up...
In the end it's still a mystery how people who are doing a long day job are able to maintain balance with everything else that goes on in their life
I know I need to set my priority straight, I ain't even wasting my time but utilising it for the good but still I can't find that one extra hour in 24 hours..guess I'll have to create 25th Hour to meet my tasks instead of putting it on tomorrow to do list and pilling it up.
What's your thoughts and how do you maintain the balance? Do share your thoughts in the comments.

I can relate with this. Balancing work and personal life can be hard most times especially when we have some unexpected changes here and there. I try to make realistic plans, simple but consistent ones. Amd most importantly, I try to rest well too because if I fall sick, I won't be able to do as much as I'm expected to. Just go with what works for you, nothing too much and nothing less.
I'm kinda same, can agree with making realistic plans so you can catch up with things though I'm lacking at being consistent, need to focus on that...

Way to go then. It’s good that you know something that needs fixing.

Prioritization is for sure an important skill to learn and refine as time goes on. It doesn’t get easier in a lot of ways but it does improve!
Hopefully you can find a good balance and also fit in time away from work a bit more.
exactly, a skill that can make life a lot better.
Tryin to find that balance, slowly learning but getting there.
