And now since we are in the final endgame of this year 2024, make sense to see what was the most difficult thing I've did this year. Like everytime I noticed the kind of motivation a person have in the beginning is something that's always missing in the middle or at the end but I tried to be as consistent and motivated as possible.
The Hardest thing was making difficult decisions
I never felt more alone making decision than this year.. some of unfortunate life event made me take those hard decisions and I was scared if I mess this up one more thing.
It's not easy to carry entire family on back while you're in early 20s.. I've got this responsibility from early age so been making tough decisions
But this time I got scared when my grandma had an accident last month. It was too bad that I started feeling like I'm going to loose her but prayers did worked.
And at that time I realised when I saw her condition that I've not did anything big like making them proud by becoming rich and so on, I want to live upto their expectations.
But living in this country I can't see bright future
For myself because I have tried so many places yet they pay is wage that hardly covers monthly expenses and bills. Instead of getting loans and living a miserable life in a sick country
I thought it'd be better to swallow a hard pill that is "leave this country" for good.

Of course it's the most difficult decision to make especially after seeing my grandma near death experience..I just have not much time and will have to build my career which is better suited in another country, not here.
There's a lot of scam agencies and such where people lost life savings just to move abroad and it was challenging for me to find a legit agency and agent
The cost is much more expensive and risky
Our country's passport is amongst one of the worst one, so getting visa ain't easy also it's very expensive
Some agents will ask for 7lacs, 10lac and so on but the one I found said total cost will be around 5lac.
Unlike other people I ain't lucky enough to have parents who saved that kinda amount.. so I had to work for it myself, never took loan before nor going to take now.
I did submitted some of initial amount they asked in advance.. now waiting for the visa and rest of documents to be done while I'm working for getting the rest of the amount.
While I was inactive on hive, I was doing overtime
Incase you guys have noticed I've been less active than how I used to be so regular back in the days on hive.. it's not because I'm lazy and going through writer block
It's just because of the job I'm doing these days takes overtime and so on.. can't find much time but grinding all I can to get the amount ready before they call.
I'm expecting visa will arrive anytime now and it'll be on urgent basis.. after moving out of this country.. it'll probably take 2 to 3 months or hopefully early to get a job.
Wrapping Up...
I think it was the most hardest year of my life because of the kind of challenges I've faced and decisions made but it seems like I need to be more careful next couple of months since this year isn't over yet.
In the end I'd love to know how's this year treating you? And feel free to share your experience settling into new country where you don't have any relative or people you can rely on. Do share in the comments.
