Making of garri from my little farm
Good evening great farmers in the house. How have you all been, I hope that all is going on well with you all. Ok so today I have a little experience to share with you all about how to process garri from casava.
First and foremost, on a very early morning, I went to the farm to uproot the casava, and since the distance was a bit far and in town I had to use a tricycle to convey it back to the house so that I can now proceed to the next stanlge.
Stage two is the pealing of the casava back side. I had to use my knife to peal the back side of the casava so that I will move to the next stage.
Stage three was the washing of the casava for it to b clean then I put it on a basin so that I can take it to the mill for it to be grinded with a machine.
On reaching the mill there were other person's there also to grind their casava, I had to waite till my turn to do so. I grinded the casava, after that we gave to the pople incharge of the mill to press it for it to be dried.
The next morning I went to check if the casava was dried so that I can fry it and take it home.
The frying process has two of it.
Firstly I had to use the sieve to sieve out the part which the grinding machine dis not grind,
after that I went into putting fire and started my frying and after frying all of the garri I went home with my garri and tadaaaaa we are done. Rate my sweet garri.
What you can do all what this, I mean what food 😊👌👌🍲🥖🥞🌯🧈🍛
This is garri. It can be used as swallo, its also very good for sipping. This is what we call quick responds in Nigeria
How are you able to fry that much garri at the same time. We are used to frying smaller ones in smaller frying pots
