RE: How about a Burn Club?
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
We could propose a system where players with over 100,000 cards receive a custom NFT that consolidates the stats of certain common or duplicate cards.
How It Would Work:
This NFT would sum the total stats of specific repeated or common cards.
The process could even be done manually, as the number of players with such massive collections is very small. However, these players likely own the majority of all cards, so the impact on synchronization would be significant.
Benefits:
No Loss of Stats: Players wouldn’t lose any stats, as the custom NFT would reflect the exact total of the cards consolidated.
Unique NFT Ownership: They would receive a unique NFT exclusive to them, representing a one-of-a-kind card that no one else can have.
Faster Synchronization: By consolidating thousands of duplicate cards into a single NFT, synchronization times would drastically improve.
Achievement-Based NFTs: Additional unique NFTs could be awarded for reaching specific milestones.
How It Could Be Implemented:
This process could occur every “X” weeks.
Players would send their duplicate cards to a burn account.
In exchange, the game creator would mint a new NFT with the exact same stats but consolidated into a single card.
This would reduce the card count while preserving the player's overall stats.
Example of Achievement-Based NFTs:
For example, if a player burns 50,000 Luck in pianos (only common cards), they could receive a unique piano NFT with the same total stats but at a reduced ratio of 1:50,000.
This would reduce the synchronization load while rewarding players with a one-of-a-kind collectible.
I believe this approach would solve the synchronization issue by consolidating large inventories without devaluing the player’s collection. It would also add an element of exclusivity and reward the top collectors with unique NFTs.
It should probably happen with 250 cards And then cards of a 250 can be join in bunches of 100.
