When does it ever end?

Whoever came up with the“ No one knows tomorrow" saying must have been really smart as no one really knows tomorrow!! No matter how hard you try you still cannot accurately guess what or how “Tomorrow” is or is going to be.

Who would have thought that in just a few weeks the price of a commodity can double its price? Who would have thought that you could go to the market and return home to count how much you spent like you were robbed in the market? Who would have thought the economy would get this bad?

I was so pissed today, I was pissed because the condition of my country keeps getting bad every single day and nothing is being done to improve it instead we adapt and continue to live our lives just like every single time we hit rock bottom! How do people “adapt” to challenges? Is that even supposed to be a thing? A lot of people are in survival mode and it’s crazy!

You try to share your problems with your friend thinking they will be able to comfort you only for your friend to narrate his or her problems, after hearing the gravity of their problems you forget about yours and focus on them, Alas! It’s now a competition of who suffers the most.

The hike in price is so bad that nothing is spared!! All areas of life are affected!

Gone are those days when I make a list before I go to the market, in that list I write down each and every item I would buy with their prices attached to them but right now I can’t do that as I’d be signing up for heartbreak as you likely cannot return to the market the next two days and meet the same price you met days ago. This is not a movie, it’s reality!

Now I cannot negotiate prices with vendors as the prices they tell me and what I have in mind is totally out of this world! I pick up an item to buy and the seller calls a ridiculous amount and asks me how much I’d be able to pay, I can’t even open my mouth to talk as I would end up embarrassing myself.

One cannot satisfy their cravings completely again as things are so expensive and you just have to cut costs and beg your cravings to comply alongside your budget.

Transportation is not out of the equation because fuel is now so expensive that so many people have resorted to trekking😩 the level of trekking over here has increased. Some of you call it “taking a walk” in your different countries but here most of those walks have metamorphosed into trek-a-thon! People need to save their transport fares for longer distances.

I take a look at some large families sometimes, families with five to six children who are struggling financially and I wonder how they cope.

People fall ill and doctors tell them to eat healthy, how do you eat healthy when you can barely even eat?😂 doctors tell you to always rest, how can these people rest when they have to hustle day and night to put food on their table? How can they rest when their brain is filled up with so many challenges?

Over here the rate of people becoming suicidal is increasing rapidly! People just wanna die and Leave this crazy world while others wanna engage in illegal activities just to get by.

In all honesty, right now we need a miracle, a miracle that could change our lives for good, we don’t know how it’s going to happen, we just want it to happen.
