I love funny prompts! I love it when prompts like this make us laugh at ourselves for a minute as we recount our experience, it always feels good.

What's something funny that makes you laugh at yourself?

A lot of things make me laugh at myself, and it’s safe to say I am my own little clown. I crack myself up every time with the crazy things that go on in my head. My head is a scary place, and you sure don’t want to be there.

There are a lot of things that make me laugh at myself, but today I’ll be sharing just one and just maybe someone out there can relate.

The thought of being a parent cracks me up every single time, please hear me out. I don’t mean in a bad way please…. I mean someone like me is going to be responsible for a group of adorable kids? Like Me?? Someone who is still figuring life and still needs guidance is going to be in charge of little kids?😂 Like my decisions in their lives will be very important? Like they have to look up to be? Me?! Small me?? Ehwooo ooooo😂😂😂

Don’t get it twisted, I love the idea of being a mother, heck I want to have babies that I wouldn’t have to return to their mothers at the end of the day, but the responsibility that lies ahead scares the living out of me and the best way to respond to such a thought is by laughing.

I know it gets better with time, I know I’d learn on the job and adapt but c’mon where do I start from ooo😂😂 where ooo?😂😂How????

When I think about all of this I can totally understand why Avatar Aang disappeared when the world needed him because some responsibilities are just too big, sorry for judging you Aang, I now know better.

Kids are amazing, no scratch that, they are the most beautiful souls to walk the face of the earth, but they are one hell of a job. With them if you get it right, fantastic, if you get it wrong? You’re screwed. The thought of making decisions on behalf of them, training them into being the best version of themselves is somewhat scary.

I’m still learning and figuring life myself, heck, I’m making tons of mistakes, falling, learning, and being responsible for kids feels like a double promotion that you know nothing about but have to bring your A game to the table.

So yeah, motherhood cracks me up whenever I think about it and all thanks to this prompt, I’m able to save such an important post on this immutable blockchain. Maybe a few years from now when I’m killing “this big role” I’ll come back to read this and have a good laugh, fingers crossed guys😃
