Mr. Stranger
This topic made me reflect on my friendships for a minute. I just realized that the most genuine friends I have ever made were people I met in awkward or chaotic places. Places that you’d never think you can ever meet a nice person. Most of these friendships of mine have spanned many years and it’s heartwarming to reflect on all these stories and smile😃
This week, we want you to tell us about a stranger who was kind to you and why you’d never forget them.
Like I stated earlier, I’ve met people in awkward and chaotic situations and we clicked and became great friends, worthy of note is a stranger that helped me a few years ago.
On this fateful day, I was on my way to a wedding. Makeup great, outfit snatched, hair gorgeous and every other thing I was wearing was on point.
A relative of mine was supposed to pick me up that day, all I had to do was meet her at the junction.
I came out of my house feeling unstoppable, I mean I was looking too gorgeous not to, and while strutting boom! I was greeted with a pool of water. Classic rain to do its thing.
I stared at the pool of water in front of me and back at my dress and I shook my head, there was no way a princess like me was going to get into such dirty water with my pretty dress and shoes.
I did what every other person would do, jump, but this time I couldn’t bring myself to jump😂 the corset was too tight and a few jumps would definitely rip the dress.
I stood there downcast, my excitement moving from 100% straight to 0%. I was screwed. I had to pass the pool of water or stand there for eternity.
While in my state of dilemma, a stranger came, he walked into the water like it was nothing and that was all thanks to the rain boots he was wearing.
“You’re so lucky,” I muttered.
He chuckled and did the most noble thing ever.
He immediately moved past me, got a big stone, and placed it on the floor so I could climb on it and pass. I was stunned. Saying thank you, I made a move to climb the stone, but I discovered I’d still have to get into the water when I went further. Long story short Mr. Stranger asked if he could carry me.
Hearing that, I let out a loud laugh as I couldn’t believe he wanted to carry me. Then he goes, “If you don’t mind as that’s the only solution right now”. I laughed again as the unserious person that I am😂
It felt so weird that a stranger was willing to help me cross the pool of water. After much contemplation, I gave in and he carried me gracefully to the other side.
The moment he dropped me and I thanked him, he left without asking for my number or name, which I appreciated as we didn’t have to false the friendship.
A few weeks later we met near where the event happened, and we burst into laughter simultaneously, apparently, we live in the same neighborhood.
Today that stranger is a very good friend of mine😃
It takes nothing to be kind to people. That little gesture of yours can ultimately make someone’s day.
The world is too chaotic to be the reason people feel bad about themselves, let’s all try to be kind to people at all times.
Thanks for stopping by
Loads of Love🥰🥰

However, it was really interesting to see you having a happy time at the wedding. Here, you have made an effort to cheer yourself up a lot by dressing up in a very relaxed manner. This is truly a unique joy. However, in our Bangladesh, I have seen that it rains a lot at many weddings. Which, above all, seems like a lot of chaos for the family. I wish you success in your return, thank you.
That was a great act of kindness
A girl once helped backed me to cross a dirty water, one day i was coming back from the church, that day i wore shoe, and couldn't cross, she assisted me...
What a sweet gesture from the stranger, and he didn't even intend to get your contact, show how genuine he was.
A little act of kindness can go along way in making someone's day. It's so kind of him coming through for you in that manner.
