Today I have the pleasure of inviting you to two art exhibitions named "Revelando el Milagro Oculto" and "Entre luces", at the Azagaya and Nexos galleries in the city of Ciego de Avila, Cuba 🇨🇺. They were inaugurated last Friday, February 7 by the Cuban Fund of Cultural Goods (FCBC) of the municipality. I hope you like the works and enjoy each of these artistic designs.

Hoy tengo el placer de invitarlos a dos exposiciones de arte denominadas "Revelando el Milagro Oculto" y "Entre luces", en las galerías Azagaya y Nexos de la ciudad Ciego de Ávila, Cuba 🇨🇺. Fueron inauguradas el pasado viernes 7 de febrero por el Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales (FCBC) del municipio. Espero les gusten las obras y disfruten cada uno de esto diseños artísticos.

On the way to the art exhibitions I took some pictures of the center of the province, some of the central park, old buildings, its streets and boulevard.
De camino a las exhibiciones de arte pues realice algunas tomas fotográficas del centro en la provincia, algunas del parque central, edificaciones antiguas, sus calles y boulevar avileño.
To begin this first exhibition "Revelando el Milagro Oculto", I show a collective section of carving that brings together works of 11 creators. In it you can appreciate beautiful handcrafted works in wood and other media such as the jar.

Para comenzar esta primera exposición "Revelando el Milagro Oculto", muestro una sección colectiva de talla que reúne obras de 11 creadores. En la misma se pueden apreciar hermosos trabajos artesanales en madera y otros soportes como el tarro.
Además sus destrezas de excelente realización en técnica, donde cada artista participante pone de manifiesto su virtuosismo creativo.
Here are several sculptures of the African presence with decontextualization of masks and a set of polychrome pieces in the style of the harmful effects of sugar on health. The whole sculptural set with a hidden message behind it, which you have to figure out according to your imagination.
A continuación les presento varias esculturas de la presencia africana con descontextualización de máscaras y un conjunto de piezas policromara al estilo de los efectos nocivos que presenta el azúcar en la salud. Todo el set escultórico con un mensaje oculto detrás, que debes de cifrar según tu imaginación.
It is evident the diversity of ideas, themes and concepts treated by the craftsmen on the material supports used, predominantly wood.

These aspects of the past and the contemporary discourse on the deployment of straight lines, sinuous, as well as tactile and visual textures.
The authenticity of the wood is exploited in the creation based on carving. However, on some surfaces of the pieces, the application of pigments is appreciable, achieving appropriate colorations and providing, in unison, an added effect. Each artist, as a result of his techno-formal experimentations and defined edges of artistic-artisanal creation, exhibits a sample of idealized, dreamed realities.

No obstante, en algunas superficies de las piezas es apreciable la aplicación de pigmentos, lográndose adecuadas coloraciones y, proporcionando, al unísono, un efecto añadido. Cada artífice, a raíz de sus experimentaciones tecnoformales y definidas aristas de creación artístico-artesanal, expone una muestra de realidades ideadas, soñadas.
Of all my favorite 😍 is "Conjunto de obras marinas", by Maikel Tabraue Valladares, it is composed of three pieces of carving in jar, so it constitutes the atypicality with respect to the material support transforming it into representation of dolphins 🐬.

Leaving the first tour, I took some more pictures before entering the next place. When I got there it was already closed but I talked to the officer on duty and he let me in to take some pictures of the gallery for you the @worldmappin family 🙏🏻.

Saliendo del primer recorrido, pues realicé otras fotografías antes de entrar al siguiente lugar. Al llegar pues ya estaba cerrado pero hablé con el oficial de guardia y me dejo entrar a realizar algunas fotos de la galería para vosotros la familia @worldmappin 🙏🏻.
A continuación les presento los siguientes cuadros artísticos inspirados en el mismo pueblo de Ciego de Ávila.
The Azagaya Gallery is located in the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) in Ciego de Avila, a public space for young creators and artists from Avila. It features a lounge to relax from everyday life in the company of family, friends or couple and have some drinks with starters. 🥪🥂
It is a local that in addition to presenting the exhibition, because at night also develop various cultural activities and enjoy good traditional dance music. 😊

La galería Azagaya está ubicada en la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC) de Ciego de Ávila, espacio público para jóvenes creadores y artistas de nacionalidad avileña. Presenta un salón para relajarse del día a día en acompañia de familia, amigos o pareja y tomar algunos tragos con entrantes. 🥪🥂
Es un local que además de presentar la exhibición, pues en la noche también se desarrollan varias actividades culturales y se disfruta de la buena música tradicional bailable. 😊
Going into the works, I will tell you that the personal exhibition "Entre luces" is created by the artist Humberto del Río.
About 10 works, of varied dimensions and printed on canvas, populate the walls of this precinct, where the first thing that could catch one of these photographs is their size. Then the colorfulness, and almost lastly, the recognizable architecture of Avila. Elements that give the room a very visible, elegant, beautiful and distinguishable pictures.

Adentrándonos a la parte de las obras, pues les comentaré que la exposición personal “Entre luces” es creada por el artista Humberto del Río.
Alrededor de 10 obras, de dimensiones variadas e impresas en tela, pueblan las paredes de este recinto, donde lo primero que a uno le podría atrapar de estas fotografías es su tamaño. Luego el colorido, y casi por último, la arquitectura avileña tan reconocible. Elementos que dan del salón unos cuadros muy visibles, elegantes, hermosos y distinguibles.
With the use of deformations, blurs, stains and something similar to oil brushstrokes on canvas, among other resources, this restless artist of the lens offers us his authentic vision of a city that has not resisted the passage of time and kind of marches alongside it.
I will tell you that these next two works are in my place of work, where I sell and develop all my crafts to the population, it is very central in town. It is located in the most important bank 🏦 of Ciego de Avila.

Con el empleo de las deformaciones, desenfoques, las manchas y algo semejante a las pinceladas de óleo sobre el lienzo, entre otros recursos, este inquieto artista del lente nos ofrece su auténtica visión de una ciudad que no se ha resistido al paso del tiempo y como que marcha a su lado.
Les comentaré que estás dos próximas obras son en mi local de trabajo, donde vendo y desarrollo todas mis artesanías a la población, es muy céntrico en el pueblo. Está ubicada en el banco 🏦 más importante de Ciego de Ávila.
Thus we witness a classic architecture, with wide columns and half arches, high struts, sidewalks and a preponderant electrical wiring typical of cities that still resist to refurbishment and mimicry.
Así somos testigos de una arquitectura clásica, con amplias columnas y medios arcos, puntales altos, aceras y un tendido eléctrico preponderante propio de las ciudades que aún se resisten al afeite y al mimetismo.
This color treatment chosen by the artist makes the exhibition reach an extreme coherence and solidity. Because everything flows in those ocher, orange, earth and gray tones.
It puts the city as it is, beyond its own imaginary, its recreation, and proposes before our eyes the security of what we have done with those roofs, those streets, with the traffic signs and with the multiple dreams that have been woven around this architecture.

Ese tratamiento de color que optó el artista, hace que la expo alcance una coherencia y solidez extrema. Porque todo fluye en esos tonos ocres, naranjas, tierra y grises.
Nos pone la ciudad como es, más allá de su propio imaginario, de su recreación y propone ante los ojos la seguridad de lo que hemos hecho con esos techos, esas calles, con las señales del tránsito y con los múltiples sueños que se han tejido alrededor de esta arquitectura.
"Entre luces" also reveals to us the world that the author pursues, who already by this stage of his artistic life, his creative maturity is evident, someone who no longer needs to look for a way to express himself because to some extent we sense that he has found it.
We hope these exhibitions inspire more people to explore the world of craftsmanship and appreciate the beauty of these unique creations! ✨

"Entre luces" nos revela también el mundo que persibe el autor, que ya para esta etapa de su vida artística, es evidente su madurez creativa, alguien que ya no necesita buscar un camino para expresarse porque en alguna medida presentimos que lo ha encontrado.
¡Esperamos que estas exposiciones inspiren a más personas a explorar el mundo de la artesanía y a apreciar la belleza de estas creaciones únicas! ✨

Wow, this sounds like such an amazing exhibition! I love how the artists used different materials and styles to create unique pieces. The idea of hidden messages in the sculptures is really cool. It must have been exciting to explore both galleries and see so many creative works.
