If you're a fan of strolls, beaches, and hotel vacations, it’s a pleasure to share with you my experience at the Tryp Cayo Coco Resort, located in the "Jardines del Rey" archipelago of my city, Ciego de Ávila, Cuba 🇨🇺. Join me on this wonderful journey 😉!

¡Hola viajeros de la comunidad @worldmappin!

Si eres fans de los paseos, playas y vacaciones hoteleras; es un placer compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el resort Tryp Cayo Coco ubicado en el archipiélago "Jardines del Rey" de mi ciudad Ciego de Ávila, en Cuba 🇨🇺. ¡Acompáñame en este maravilloso recorrido 😉!

To start the tour, I’ll tell you that this whole trip was my partner @karoly idea—with a little help from my hotel search, lol. Honestly, it was a spectacular decision—everything was wonderful, with excellent customer service from the resort staff.

To get there, we took a tour bus 🚌, but it was super fun, full of interesting sights and panoramic views of the northern cays.

Para empezar el recorrido, les comentaré que todo fue idea de mi pareja @karoly con ayuda en la busca del hotel por mí jjj. La verdad fue una decisión espectacular, todo fue muy agradable y con excelente atención al cliente por parte de los trabajadores de la instalación.

Para llegar al lugar el viaje fue en Bus tour 🚌, pero bien divertido, interesante y vistas panorámicas de los cayos del norte.

The welcome at the resort was quite pleasant, with a nice reception area and a spacious lobby. As you can see in the pictures, my attention was instantly drawn to the main chandelier—super modern and creative!

The waiting area features beachy-style furniture and several counters decorated with coastal-themed ornaments like seashells, seahorses, corals, and other nautical figures.

La bienvenida al centro, bastante aceptable con su recepción y un lobby espacioso. Bueno como podrán ver en las imágenes, toda mi atención fue captada por la lámpara principal, bien moderna y creativa.

Su sala de espera contiene muebles playeros y varios mostradores con adornos costeros como conchas, caballito de mar, corales entre otras figuras.

After arriving tired from the trip, we decided to sit down, catch our breath, and enjoy a delicious coffee ☕️. Being Hive blockchain enthusiasts, we asked if they could make the Hive coin logo for us. We also wanted the Worldmappin logo, but that was more complicated - no matter though, we were really pleased with the bartender's work!

Bueno al venir cansado del viaje, decidimos sentarnos, tomar aire y disfrutar de un rico café ☕️. Al ser amantes de la blockchain Hive preguntamos si nos podían hacer el logo de la moneda, también quisimos que fuera el de Worldmappin pero era más complicado, pero no importa quedamos complacidos con el trabajo del cantinero.

This part was so much fun LOL 😆 - I felt like a millionaire! They loaded our luggage into a minivan and gave us a lovely tour around the gorgeous resort.The super friendly bellhop helped carry our bags all the way to our room.

Esta parte fue muy divertida Jajaja lol, me sentí millonario, nos cargaron la maleta a un Minivan y nos dieron un bonito paseo por toda la instalación que fue encantador. El maletero muy amable nos ayudó a llevar el equipaje hasta la habitación.

The room was simple but had all the essentials. What I loved most was the pool view! Otherwise, it had your standard amenities - AC, bathroom toiletries, satellite TV channels, and a minibar.

La habitación sencilla pero con todas las comodidades, lo que más me gusto es su vista a la piscina. Por lo demás lo normal su aire acondicionado, baño con sus utensilios, TV con canales vía satélite y minibar.

When I stepped out onto the balcony, I snapped some photos of the resort—both general shots and a panoramic view. As you can see, it has such a peaceful vibe, exactly what we were looking for to escape the noise.

Al salir al balcón, realicé algunas tomas fotográficas del resort en general y una panorámica. Como pueden observar es de un ambiente tranquilo y esencial para lo que buscábamos fuera de bulla.

The 'room tour' when we arrived lasted all of 5 minutes - jaja As soon as we got in, we just changed into our swimsuits and headed straight down to the pool.

When I got downstairs first, I took a seat and got some friendly company - a super photogenic seagull decided to pose with me!

El paseo en la habitación al llegar fue de 5 minutos jaja, nada más llegar fue cambiarnos de ropa, ponernos de baño y bajar a la piscina.

Al descender de primero, me senté y me hizo la compañía una gaviota muy amigable y fotogénica.

The pool has separate adult sections and a kids' area, plus an awesome swim-up bar serving all kinds of drinks and snacks - all included!

My beautiful darling @karoly was, as always, in full photographer mode jj, capturing spectacular shots 😍. Just looking at them makes me want to relive those luxurious vacation days all over again.

La piscina contiene varias divisiones de adultos y un área para niños, también presenta su bar en el agua con distintas ofertas de bebidas y comida, todo incluido.

Mi cosita bella @karoly como siempre de fotógrafa jj y realizando espectaculares imágenes 😍. Nada mas verlas me dan ganas de estar nuevamente gozando de tan lujosas vacaciones.

The next day, we ventured out to explore the area around the hotel. The staff told us about a shopping center just 1 km away—so off we went!

"La Gaviota" mall is the largest in the entire archipelago, located right at the roundabout. The place is really appealing, with a three-story building housing several boutique shops. I got swept up in the excitement and treated myself to a Caribbean perfume.

Al día siguiente, salimos a caminar las afueras del hotel. Los trabajadores nos indicaron de un centro comercial a tan solo 1 km de distancia y pues para ya fuimos.

El centro comercial "La gaviota" es el mayor de todos en el archipiélago, está ubicado en la rotonda central. El lugar es bastante atractivo, contiene una edificación de tres pisos con diversas salas boutique de ventas, embullado me compre un perfume caribeño.

The entire ground floor is dedicated to open-air Cuban crafts—you’ll find everything from bracelets and jewelry to ceramics and textiles. As a souvenir, I gifted my sweetheart a romantic handmade bracelet.

Toda la planta baja es artesanía cubana al aire libre, se pueden encontrar pulsos, joyas, cerámicas y textiles. Para obtener un recuerdo le regale un pulso romántico a mi amorcito.

Now, when it comes to the cays, we couldn’t miss the beach—famous for its white sands and crystal-clear waters. Direct access via a footbridge led us to a cozy lovers' hammock branded with the resort’s logo.

Bueno y si hablamos de cayos, no podía faltar la playa, famosa por sus arenas blancas y aguas cristalinas. Con acceso directo desde un puente a una hamaca amorosa con la insignia del centro.

The setting is perfect for those looking to unwind, soak up the Cuban sun, and enjoy top-notch massage services—though some wellness treatments may come with an extra charge.

Stroll along the beach, and you’ll spot vibrant marine life, including crabs scurrying across the sand.

El ambiente es ideal para quienes buscan relajarse, disfrutar del sol de cuba y de un excelente servicio de masaje con tratamientos de bienestar que pueden tener algún costo adicional.

Si caminas por la playa notarán una abundante naturaleza marina y varios ejemplares como cangrejos.

The upper pool area offers a gorgeous photo spot with its artificial turf and luxurious hardwood furniture.

I couldn’t resist reliving my breakdancing days—thanks to my partner for capturing those fun shots!

La parte alta de la piscina presenta un espacio hermoso para realizar fotografías con su césped artificial y muebles de maderas preciosas.

Aproveche para recordar los tiempos de cuando bailaba break dance y tomas por mi pareja.

As night fell, the resort buzzed with options—like the 24-hour Snack Bar, perfect for late-night chats over drinks and light bites. Whether you craved crispy fries or ham-and-cheese finger foods, they had you covered.

Pasando a la etapa nocturna, habían varios espacios como el Snack bar con ofertas de comidas y bebidas las 24 horas por si deseas en la noche conversar, además de alimentarte con algún entrante sencillo sean papitas fritas o picaderas con jamón y queso.

The 'Loma Azul' restaurant offered à la carte dining with diverse dishes 🍲—simple yet elegant. To start, we ordered buttered toast, followed by a main course of chicken breasts with rice and corn.

The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Nothing beats enjoying it all in the company of my princess @karoly. 👸🏻

El restaurante "Loma Azul" era a la carta con variadas comidas 🍲, sencillo y elegante. Para comenzar pedimos unas tostadas con mantequilla y de plato fuerte unas pechugas de pollo con arroz y maíz.

Excelente servicio y el personal muy amable. Nada mejor para estar con compañía de mi princesa @karoly. 👸🏻

We missed the show—it only ran one night, and we were exhausted. But let me tell you, we danced, joined the animation team’s games, and soaked up every moment of those beautiful evenings.

For me, this was the kind of adventure I’d relive a thousand times. I’m all about these types of trips—not for luxury, but to explore, learn from other cultures, and escape the city grind.

El show no pudimos verlo, hubo un solo día pero estábamos cansado, pero si les diré que bailamos, participamos en juegos de la animación y gozamos de lindas noches.

Para mi fue una aventura que repetiría una y mil veces, además que soy fans de estos tipos de viajes, no por lujos sino por conocer, aprender de culturas y salir del día a día en la ciudad.

In conclusion, my stay at the four-star Tryp Cayo Coco resort was thoroughly enjoyable. I won’t call it a luxury masterpiece, but it’s perfect for travelers seeking beachside relaxation and peaceful vibes away from the hustle and bustle.

The highlight? Getting to share beautiful, serene days with my love!

En conclusión, mi experiencia por el resort cuatro estrellas Tryp Cayo Coco fue agradable. No les diré que es un súper hotel, pero si ideal para quienes buscan relax en la playa y ambiente tranquilo fuera de bullicio.

Lo mejor es que pase unos días lindos y tranquilos con mi amor !!
