Day 3 of [Zingtober]: Crown

Hello, and a happy evening to everyone! I hope you are doing well and are having a blessed month. Today, October 3rd, continuing with the Zingtober contest, I wanted to participate in the day's event with a fanart drawing inspired by the theme "crown". For the design, I chose the Ocean Healer in a Kawaii version from the Holozing ecosystem.

I enjoyed giving the illustration my own representation, in a king-like style. I made it traditionally with colored pencils on cardstock. I really liked the result and I hope you like it too and enjoy it. Join me! 🤗

¡Hola, feliz noche a todos!. Espero se encuentren bien y estén teniendo un bendecido mes. Hoy, 3 de octubre en continuación del concurso Zingtober, quise participar en la jornada con un dibujo fanart inspirado en el tema corona, para el desarrollo escogí al sanador del océano en versión Kawaii del ecosistema holozing.

Aprecié darle una representación propia a la ilustración, en modo rey, lo realize de manera tradicional con lápices de colores sobre cartulina, el resultado me gusto mucho y espero le guste a ustedes también y lo disfruten. ¡Acompáñame! 🤗

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

  • Lápiz Prismacolor Premier Blanco / Prismacolor Premier White Pencil
  • Lápiz Prismacolor Premier Negro / Prismacolor Premier Black Pencil
  • Pluma de dibujo negro / Black Pigment Liner
  • Hoja de papel / Sheets of paper
  • Lápiz / Pencil
  • Goma / Eraser

    • Drawing Development / Desarrollo del Dibujo

    First, I sketch the outline on the sheet of paper with a 4H pencil. I use this type of pencil because it's easier to erase in case of any mistakes. I always like to start by drawing basic shapes, as it helps me get the proportions right for when I start painting. For a beginner, I think it turned out quite well on the first try.
    Primeramente dibujo el boceto en la hoja de papel con el lápiz 4H, el cual lo utilizo para que sea más fácil borrar en caso de algún error, el comienzo siempre me gusta hacerlo en forma de figuras para obtener mejor medida a la hora de pintarlo y para ser principiante me salió bastante bien al primer intento.

    After the main sketch I made an outline with the fine black drawing pen and then erased the pencil ones made in the first step, so that it would not interfere with the markers, a little complex work because it had several curious details. Besides being a black and white design, I used the dark Prismacolor to give shade and a better view to the illustration.
    Luego del boceto principal hice un delineado con la pluma fina de dibujo negro y posteriormente borré las de lápiz realizadas en el primer paso, para que no interfiriera con los rotuladores, trabajo un poco complejo pues tenía varios detalles curiosos. Además al ser un diseño en blanco y negro, pues use el Prismacolor oscuro para dar sombra y mejor vista a la ilustración.

    Resultado final / Final result

    It should be noted that this design ideas were searched Pinterest, but the creation and realization are made by me with a lot of dedication for you.
