A Typical Day of a College Student
On our TTH(tuesday-thursday) schedule we had a morning class around 10:30 am and I arrived at school at 9:30. It was so early that I ended up spending my time in the library waiting until 10:30 will hit the clock. I just scroll through my cellphone since it feels so boring in the library. I didn't have a company and it's just me the whole time. I studied a bit for our first subject so I can answer or participate in our lesson.
But when we arrived at the hallway of our classroom, we saw that the classroom was closed and had a lock on it. One of my classmates chatted with our teacher if we had a class, and guess what? There was an emergency at my teacher's house and he didn't go to school today. He apologized for the late announcement, and I told my friend we should go to the nearby store so I could withdraw my allowance.
Every week, I would withdraw 1k peso from my hive earnings so I could use it for my allowance. Now that I had enough money, my father would give me less and the pocket money he would give me was 200 pesos each day. But for my peace of mind, I made sure to have some extra money.
After that, we ate lunch at the nearby carenderia and it's been our first time eating here since our school started in today's school year. The food vendor, was really friendly I was thinking if I would buy 2 hanging rice and it cost 6 pesos each but as I keep thinking I remember that I started to eat less rice so I just bought 1 hanging rice and she picked the big hanging rice for me since I just bought 1. That made me want to keep coming in here and they also had a free soup in here and condiments. We ate together with my group of friends, we rarely ate together since our schedules were not the same. Every Tuesday and Thursday this is the only day that we could eat together.
Then at 1:00 pm, we then went to our class. While our teacher was discussing, my friend grab the eyeglasses of my classmates and put it in her eyes, even though she had a glasses hahhaha.
Subsequently our next class followed, and as we sat on our chairs. I saw a keychain made of fuzzy wire and I keep thinking if I would put it on my bag or leave it here so I ended up leaving it here. Its cutie but not my style.
I always admire students like you who tried their best earning. This may not ease all the burden of parents but for sure a great help!
Keep it up.

Thank you so much po! 😊 You’re right, even if it’s just a small help, at least I can lessen a bit of my parent’s burden. I’ll continue to do my best .
I'm also thankful that I encountered the Hive community, and I thank ma'am @callmesmile for introducing us here. It's a great way to express our experiences and to earn money as well.
Same here. Si ma'am @callmesmile sad ang nag introduce nako ani and I'm forever grateful jd sa iyaha.
I felt proud after reading that Hive helps your allowance as a student. It's like you're a working student who helps your parents with your budgeting. Good job on that! 👏🏼
Thank you po! 🥰 I also feel proud na kahit student pa lang, I can support myself a little. Hive really teaches us how to value both writing and budgeting
