A Sweet Morning Making Turon Together

Hello there my lovely hivers!!!!

My grandma told me to make a turon or in english" fried banana roll. I said to her that I had some errands to go and she said okay you can do it in the morning. But, when I came again to their house the wife of my uncle was wrapping this banana into the spring roll. This is our left over spring roll for the lumpia the ground pork was only only 1 kilo and the wrapper that we used was almost 1 and a half.

This is the banana that they used, they had a lot of banana trees in here and some of it gets rotten so the best way to eat this banana is this kind of dish. I also love to make it pinaypay or " banana fan fritters" We can't make it since we didn't have enough ingredients to make it tasty. Our neighbor sells a different type of banana dish and it gets sold out around 3 the only dish I want to buy is the banana fan fritters. The reason why I love that kind of dish since it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside plus it is covered with sugar. They cut it into pieces to make it fit on the wrapper. One banana sliced onto 4 to make it like this.

Then you will wrap it and just fold it on the side and roll it over and to close it you should put water on the wrapper so it could stick.

My cousin helps her mother by removing it slowly one by one so that it doesn't get ripped off. This wrap was a little sticky and if you don't pull it slowly it's gonna rip off but it's so relaxing when you do this.

This is the final look, so pretty and clean. I helped her to make the work faster, and for about 5 minutes the sliced banana gets wrapped quickly.

While I was taking a picture of mine, wrapping the banana with my cousins on the side dancing the "ram sam sam" It's a cute song that some of the kids loved.

This is what the banana looks like and it's also good if you just boil it. It's tasty and sweet and it's perfect if you are on a diet. I've tried it on pandemic days hahhahaha.

While I was on my way home, I stumbled on my cousin playing a "dampa" It's a filipino game where you would trap the air onto your hand and make the rubber band fall off and you will. My cousin didn't know how to play this kind of game so I taught them how to properly place your hand and win. But they didn't get it hahahahah.

I also stumbled upon this fresh mango from our tree, and it looks really good. I can still remember when we would wake up early in the mornings and go to our neighbor's mango tree to get some of this mango.
