A Pricey Treat, But My Peace Was Worth It
Hello there my lovely hivers!!!
I had decided to treat myself to a nearby cafe in our school. To make myself happy and do the things I'm afraid of. I romantice being alone, just do the things by myself. It's my 2nd time coming here, and it's a little bit expensive since I'm also paying for the place. I keep thinking where I should treat myself, I had two options this cafe, or in the worthy. The thing that pops up in my mind is that I want to feel comfortable, cozy and have tasty foods.
KNOAH MARI is a perfect stop for me, it feels so warm and comfortable. But the staff is not as friendly as I expected, the one staff that I first encountered and I didn't like how she responded to me. On the second time I came here, the staff whose in-charge of taking the orders was friendly and not intimidating.
There are pastries that they sell here, and it looks delicious. I can't decide what pastries I should pick and I really wanted to taste their cookies but I hesitated if I didn't like it so I just bought this brownie type of pastries. I just bought 1 piece of each of the milk-tea and pastries. The total was 150 pesos, I thought it was a bit expensive but it's just affordable.
I was happy knowing that this place, has a few people and I can enjoy my me time. I found the best spot for me, that I could feel comfortable. The ambiance was really pleasing, plus it's peaceful even though there are some people enjoying their company. They had a type of thing that was given to the customer and it just vibrated when your order was done. It has the aesthetic vibes that all teens will love.
I took a lot of selfies, to see how I looked. I just loved my top and how it fits me. This matte lipstick was really good on me. I just bought it in tiktok since it is hype all over my fyp.
This eyeglass I wore is from my sister, and I liked it. It perfectly fits on me. I looked cute so I took a couple of selfies. I didn't feel shy, taking some pictures since the people on here have their own business. Being with myself, feels just so happy and treating myself before our class starts.
This was the food I ordered, I hesitated to buy this pastry since I don't eat sweets. These past few weeks, I've been eating less, less sugar and more water. But for now, it's a treat for myself from having a long and lonely meeting earlier. I had to make myself happy.
When my order just arrived, I then get it from the counter and I didn't hear what the staff told me. I just walk towards where I put my bag. The staff headed towards me, holding a knife to put a hole in my milk tea since the straw that they gave on me was paper. I just smiled towards her and felt sorry that I didn't hear her.

Hehe you do love your cafes! But why not, and see there is a plastic cup I mention in one of my replies on a another blogpost of yours.
Haha yes, I really do love cafes. It's fun when little details like that connect across posts. Thanks for always noticing.
You know I find the problem with Hive, well one of them, and not just Hive right enough, is that people don't want to consume content. They just want to create it for the rewards, but they don't actually read and engage with what other content creators create.
You take them time and trouble to make posts and be original and make your posts readable. I remember when I was on the blogging platform read.cash there were lots of filipinos on there and we would engage back and forth. Here people just tend to stay in their little group and not really engage with anyone else, which is a shame.
So yes when I read things I do notice. That is mybackground in project management spotting thedetail lol
Yeah, I get what you mean. Engagement makes such a big difference—it’s what keeps the community alive. I really appreciate that you take the time to read and notice the details.
