The surprised incident

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog

It was on Sunday morning and we had an amazing Sunday, as we listened to songs from different sub groups and the message from the man of God.
So after the church service, we were exchanging pleasantries with friends and families and got to snap pictures, as it happens that most of us do meet only on Sundays due to work and some other things

I and and some of my friends were heading home when we heard a sound of a car which comes as an accident, you know how such things do sound now, so alarming that it drew the attention of almost everyone in the area
It was a car that hit a little boy who was trying to cross the road, though the boy didn't die but he was unconcious due to shock 😔
The whole incident got people really worried, as we heard so many different stories on how it happened but since we weren't there to witness it, we didn't know which is true
Buh I personally saw the car when I heard the sound, all my thoughts was maybe the car tye burst or something, it was when the car left I later found out it was an accident, the driver from the beginning did Asif he wanted to stop but the driver drove and pass Asif nothing actually happened, I was really hurt to be sincere, like why will you hit someone, even though it was not intentional, at least he should have stop to see if the person is still breathing or not, but the man went and did asif nothing happened
You know how people behave now, some curse him, some were reigning different insult on him, some were saying he won't see peace , he was heartless, BLA BLA BLA

Everyone was carried away by the sudden incident, it was really pathetic🥲
At long last, two youth took the guy to the hospital and the parent of the boy followed by

As we were about leaving, I was expressing how I felt, disappointed by what the driver did, by not stopping by to at least to check on the boy
So there was this woman who told me something, that assuming this man stopped, they would have done something to the man or the car (maybe hurting him or. Destroying his car) as everyone saw the condition of the little boy, she tried explaining somethings to me and said he might pass to the station to report himself and how the incident happened.

But then again, I live close to a mobile base, when the incident happened, and they noticed he didn't stop by, some youth followed him, while two police men also followed up.
I didn't know if the driver was caught, but if his intention was to stop at the police station and the youth and some of the police caught him, how would he explain himself to the angry youth, by telling then his intention, would they listen or believe him?
Or if he wasn't cought, and he didn't plan to stop at the police station could it be he was trying to escape?
Lemme know your take on this please cause it's really confusing

I know it's a whole lot to handle such matter, maybe he was scared of what the environment could do to him, maybe he was also on an emergency, maybe it was something he couldn't handle as well,
So many thoughts were just running through my mind, I was seeing reasons to understand with him if only the questions I asked myself was true but then again, I also felt for the little boy as he was in a critical condition

What could be the reason of such behavior?
What do you think about the whole incident?
