The Raining Tuesday
Calm, Quiet, and Just What I Needed
This morning, I woke up to a calm and cloudy sky. The kind of weather that whispers, Stay in bed, don’t rush today. It wasn’t too cold, it wasn’t too hot, just that perfect rainy-season feeling that makes you want to wrap yourself in a blanket, sip something warm, and forget about the outside world for a while.
Honestly, I was happy. I’ve been working so hard on myself lately, mentally, physically, even emotionally. It’s been a lot. So waking up to this peaceful Tuesday felt like a small gift from nature. I had no plans of going out. My heart, body, and soul were all saying, “Just rest today.”
The rain started early in the morning. Not too heavy at first, just soft drops hitting the roof, like a lullaby. It stopped after a while, and for a moment, I thought the sun might come out. But it didn’t take long before the sky turned dark again, and then came the real downpour. Heavy, strong, and calming.
I stayed indoors all through. I listened to the sound of rain as I laid on my bed, thinking about life, how far I’ve come, and how sometimes, rest is the best reward we can give ourselves. The world outside was silent, except for the rain. And inside me, there was a kind of peace I hadn’t felt in a while.
This Tuesday vibes to me means rest, allowing myself to breathe. To reset. To find calm again.
So yes, it rained. And yes, I stayed in. But most importantly, I recharged. I reflected. I smiled. And that, to me, made this raining Tuesday a very thoughtful and needed one. 🌧️💭🕊️
