The experience with fake Hollandia yogurt

Today, I want to share an experience with Hollandia yogurt, and why we all need to be extra careful about what we buy and consume.
Recently, there has been news all over social media about fake Hollandia yogurt circulating in the market, with many warnings telling people to be alert. Sadly, we never thought we would experience it ourselves.

My sister went out to buy Hollandia yogurt. When she got back, none of them bothered to check if it was real or fake. In minds, they were still living in that mindset where we believe that everything sold is safe and original, forgetting that the country is not the same anymore.
They started drinking the yogurt almost immediately. It was only when it was nearly finished that reality hit. My sister began to notice that something was off. The drink tasted too light, almost like flavoured water. It wasn’t thick, it was watery, and it didn’t even have the usual Hollandia yogurt colour. But because it was cold and refreshing, she didn’t question it at first.
As she kept drinking, she suddenly felt a chaff like substance in her mouth. That was when alarm bells rang. She went back to check the carton and compared it with the original one that had been shared on social media.
That was when we noticed the clear differences. The scan code on the fake one was faded, unlike the original. The real Hollandia yogurt is thick and rich, but this one was very watery. Everything became obvious, but sadly, they noticed too late.

This experience taught us a big lesson, we must always be careful and observant, no matter how familiar a product is. Being distracted, trusting too easily, or assuming things are still normal can put our health at risk.
It's something that can happen to anyone, and no one knows the effect of it
