A visit to my farm

This weekend, I decided to do something different by visiting my farm. At first, I was not really in the mood to go. I felt lazy and didn’t want to stress myself too much. But when I got to the farm, everything changed. Just seeing the crops we planted growing so well made me feel happy and proud.

I planted groundnut, maize, okro, and other crops. The moment I saw how green and fresh they looked, my whole mood lifted. It reminded me how beautiful nature can be and how rewarding farming is.

I originally came to the farm to weed, but to my surprise, there wasn't much grass growing around the crops. This made the work easier and faster for me. I didn’t waste much time and still felt satisfied.

Even though there weren’t many weeds, I didn’t want to leave the farm without doing anything. So I took my time to remove the small grasses around the crops. It wasn’t stressful, and it made the farm look neat and well taken care of.

After walking around and checking the condition of the crops, I felt really fulfilled. I took a few moments to admire the growth, then I packed up and went back home feeling good.

This visit reminded me that sometimes, even when we feel tired or reluctant, doing something productive can lift our spirits. I’m glad I went to the farm—it turned out to be the best part of my weekend.
