Web3 Gaming Is The Future

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about blockchain gaming and how the Hive community should dive into it because I see it as a great incentive to promote the blockchain and get more users into Hive. Some days ago I was in a space which was hosted by a Web3 account on X courtesy of theInleoo team who set it up on the zealy campaign. There were a lot of web3 games that had a representative come into the space and talk about what their game is all about, how they have been developing it so far and what they intend to achieve in the long run.

A Splinterland representative was among the web3 games to take the mic and speak about the game. It was an interesting interaction in the space and I got to learn new stuff about other web3 games which I had not heard before and how they are progressing in web3 space. Gaming is a big part of most people's lives and every human being old or young is involved in one game or the other in their daily activities.

The large audience is still yet to know about web3 and what it has to offer while the Hive blockchain is thriving to get these users on board the blockchain and experience the true freedom that web2 can't offer. That is why the Zealy outreach campaign was created to be a beacon for Hive to spread out on web2 space to target a lot of users who don't know a thing about web3 and educate them on what the technology is about and how it will benefit them in the long run.

It can be complex for people to understand how the blockchain works but with the help of web3 games, I think it will be easier for new users to learn more about the technology and become a part of it to see it grow. I might have said this a thousand times but it needs to be said again. My first contact with web3 and Hive was through gaming on Splinterland. When I heard about how Hive is so connected to Splinterland I decided to give it a try and see how it goes and the rest of its history and that's why I am more invested in wanting Hive to use gaming as a tool to get users onboard.

Educational games can be created as a front tool for users who are interested in web3 to get their knowledge speed up and also have fun while playing and this will boost engagement and watch how these users market the games by themselves to other people. Gaming can be that tool we are missing to get Hive more out there in the world.

Looking forward to the amazing game project and hope Splinterlamds gets to collaborate with order web3 games and create some initiative to get itself more popularity because I believe Splinterland will be one of the biggest web3 games in the coming bull run and the long run in web3.
