Title: "The Messi-Ronaldo Debate: A Reflection on Legacy, Bias, and Misinformation"

Source

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Since the World Cup 2022 I have seen no need to argue with the Ronaldo fan base on who is the GOAT between Messi and Ronaldo because it is already clear who the GOAT is which is Lionel Messi, but even with the stats there to prove this statement, the trophy cabinet, individual awards still a certain fanbase still live in denial and still choose to argue that Messi achievement were handed over to him by FIFA which does not make any sense if we are being serious about this conversation.

Ronaldo is a fantastic player and the greatest goalscorer we have seen alongside Messi, but that does not change the fact that Leo Messi is a complete player on the field. Messi can literally run a game without scoring a goal and still get a better rating at the end of the game. Messi can be a 10, 11, 9, 8, or 5 on the field, and I am still surprised that this particular fanbase has yet to open their eyes and see the truth. They have gone as far as saying the Ballon d'Or award has lost its credibility because Messi won it last year and call the 2022 World Cup a gifted tournament by FIFA to Messi, calling it a rigged competition but they were silent when Argentina lost the first match to Saudi Arabia.

Messi has always been the GOAT even before he won the World Cup, but a certain fan base back in 2015 called him out when he lost the Copa America final to Chile. I remember vividly that year the memes they made of Messi and even went as far as calling him a system player, but when Messi won the Copa America the narrative changed to the Copa America is not a competitive tournament but the stats out there show South America teams have been top in the World Cup but this stats still is not enough for Ronaldo fanbase to accept.

The reason I am coming out to write all this is because I saw a recent video on TikTok from a girl who drops football takes she said that it's her take on football and came out to call the Argentina Vs Canada game a sham as she thinks Canada was robbed. There were a lot of controversial things she said about the game, and I began to wonder if this lady actually watched the game. The girl made a post later and in the video, she was crying saying she had received death threats on her and her dog and said people should know that there is a human behind the camera. I almost felt sorry for her but then she made another controversial video.

In the video, she talked about how Ronaldo's shirt was held by a Georgia player in the box but it was not given as a penalty and that if it happened to another team it would be a penalty for Argentina. When I watched the video I came to realize that she was just using it to chase clout and that the video of her crying was just to guilt trip people. Honestly, I won't feel pity when she gets another backlash because she is openly instigating the backlash. It just shows that most of the so-called football analysts on TikTok don't even watch a game before giving their wack analysis of the game.

There is one thing that will never change and that is Messi is already a World Champion and nothing can ever change that in the history books just a heads up that if Portugal eventually wins the Euros we are going to hear that winning two Euros for a country is more important than winning a World Cup. I have decided not to engage the other fanbase because I already feel no interest in football since Messi won the World Cup and completed his career. So guys that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

I'm a fan of both starts but I agree with you about Messi. The man is not your average star in football. He's my favorite too.
