The Season Is Almost Complete

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Barcelona's win over Real Madrid on Sunday has put the team one step closer to achieving the La Liga title this season. At the start of the season, no one expected Barcelona to achieve what they have gotten so far this season, from beating Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, to also beating Real Madrid again in the Copa Del Rey final and then making sure of their league victory as they won 4-3 at home. This year should have been Barcelona's year for the Champions League title, but due to bad officiating from the referee, the dream has been put on hold.

Hansi Flick came into this club and was given no top signing, as he had to work with the available resources he saw in Barcelona. The German coach saw he could create warriors with a squad that is filled with inexperienced, talented youngsters. The squad was defeated as they went trophyless last season and Raphinha was seriously considering of leaving the club last summer window, but thankful to Hansi Flick Raphinha stayed and with his performance this season he made a statement and I know the UCL loss affected him the most because he gave everything from the start of the competition to the semifinals.

The boys can raise their heads up high as every culer is proud of the team this season. The goal now is to start thinking ahead to next season as Real Madrid are already preparing for it, as they will be saying goodbye to Ancelotti at the end of the season, as they will not be leading Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to happen after the football season. Xabi Alonso has been the main target for Real Madrid to replace Ancelotti since last season, even when Liverpool were pushing to bring Xabi, but the former Real Madrid player chose to stay at Bayern Leverkusen.

Xabi is a good coach, and with what he did with Bayern Leverkusen last season, it just added more spice to his resume. FC Barcelona will get their hands full because they will be facing a new Real Madrid side with a new manager, but I am not bothered about that because I trust what Hansi Flick is building with the youngsters for the future. Barcelona just need to get two signings this summer in the left-wing position and a right-back. Getting a goalkeeper should be a priority, but I doubt it will be in Deco's plans as Szczesny will be staying for one more season, plus Ter Stegen will still be the club's main goalkeeper next season.

Deco has said there is over-dependency on Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, maybe the club needs similar players in those areas. This is not a maybe, but an actual importance, and I just hope Barcelona signs some players this summer window. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
