The Rodrygo Saga Continues

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. So today I will look at Real Madrid player Rodrygo whose future is still unclear. Real Madrid started the new La Liga season with a win, and in the full 90 minutes, Rodrygo didn't feature in the match. Now this brings the question that everyone is asking, which is “Does Rodrygo have a future at Real Madrid? In my opinion, this answer to this question is obvious, as Xabi Alonso doesn't see Rodrygo in his long-term plans at Real Madrid, but others may say otherwise. However, the signs have been clearly showing since the FIFA Club World Cup.

Rodrygo barely featured in a full match throughout the competition and although he recently recovered from an injury and of course expected to take things slow in order not to have a relapse, there was a point during the summer window that Rodrygo was in a meeting with Real Madrid President Pérez to discuss his future at the club as the club was opened to letting him leave this summer if he wants to exit the club according to Fabrizio Romano.

After the meeting, everything seemed calm surrounding Rodrygo, but now there is a little twist to the story as Manchester City are thinking of the idea of going for the Brazilian this summer. It is a complicated story as Manchester City will only push for Rodrygo if Savinho leaves this summer for Tottenham, and on the other hand, Manchester City are trying to block the transfer from happening, which I don't quite understand. The key to understanding this saga is that Rodrygo's exit this summer is a possibility, except that the player decides not to leave because clubs are making inquiries about his situation.

Liverpool is in the picture as well as they move for the Brazilian in the closing days of the transfer window. Liverpool is still waiting to go for Isak, as there are a lot of complications surrounding that move, as Newcastle United are not ready to let Isak leave this summer. The closing days of the transfer window will be interesting and I would like to see how this Rodrygo story ends in the last minutes of the summer window. The Brazilian has a choice to make which is clear, and I know it's hard to leave a big club like Real Madrid, but there are times when a player has to face the reality that their services are no longer needed at the club.

It would be a different case if Real Madrid wanted him out and Xabi Alonso told the club that he still wants the player in his team, but when the manager is not showing interest in a player, the environment can be difficult for the player, as we saw in the case of Vitor Roque. It is up to Rodrygo to make the final decision that will benefit him in the long run of his career and soon we will see if he stays at Real Madrid this season or moves to another club. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
