Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The Ballon d'Or ceremony is gradually coming closer, and the names of the contenders have been released by the ceremony organisers. There have been noted names on the list and new players who will be experiencing their first nominations in the history of the Ballon d'Or award ceremony. Now the big talk is who will be crowned 2025 winner of the Ballon d'Or as everyone has their opinion on who they think will win the award this year.

There are four names prominent in the race to be crowned Ballon d'Or winner, which are: Dembele, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Mo Salah. These four players produced an amazing performance last season in their respective clubs, and all deserve to win the competition, but to be blunt, I will give my thoughts on this topic. The player that deserves the Ballon d'Or this year is Dembele as the Frenchman has been incredible this season and has also been an impact in decisive matches that needed to be won.

Lamine Yamal's name has echoed throughout the football world as a potential winner of the Ballon d'Or this year. There is no doubt that Lamine Yamal was incredible last season for Barcelona and Spain. It is not normal that an 18-year-old is a starter for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and also a starter for the Spanish national team. The quality the youngster brings to the team is on another level and I am sure many are expecting him to flop soon, but he just keeps getting better and better each game.

Lamine Yamal winning the Ballon d'Or is what I want, which will break a record in the history of football. This dream will be a reality soon, but for this year I doubt the Spanish winger will win the award. Dembele has won all major trophies in Europe and domestically with PSG. The French club made history as they won their first ever Champions League, plus Demeble was mainly involved in helping the club achieve what it had been searching for years.

There is another name on the list that most people don't know much about, but who also deserves to win the award: Raphinha. The Brazilian player was incredible and well-mannered last season. Raphinha Ballon d'Or shouts have dropped which is not fair considering how he gave his all for the team last season. Raphinha and Lamine Yamal's partnership helped Barcelona last season to achieve the goal of winning for the team, and I am sure we will be seeing more of those two in the new season.

Salah is another good contender for the Ballon d'Or, but Liverpool's run in the Champions League was not that great. Salah may win a Ballon d'Or another time, but he won't be in this year's edition. The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on the 22nd of September. So till then the speculation still continues. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
