This week I decided to watch one of the Peaky Blinders which was released in 2022 on Netflix. It's kind of funny I didn't join the hot movie train when the series was at its peak because it was everywhere on the internet and different social media platforms. The fanbase was getting wild as many people cosplayed the main characters of the show and posted on their different social media accounts. It got some Iranian boys in trouble when they decided to dress up as Peaky Blinders and walk on the street, but their government didn't find it amusing, as they got detained.

The show has six seasons, and I am currently in the fifth season. I can say it is worth watching for those who haven't seen it yet. It has been epic from top to bottom, and the suspense in the show is top-notch. Honestly, I have to applaud the writers, directors, actors and the rest of the crew that made this master piece. The movie connects every dot, connecting to life as a young man and his brothers' lives changed after the war, as they created a gang from the scrappy streets of Birmingham to become a crime boss that controls part of London and the whole of Birmingham.

It didn't stop there as the main leader of the Blinders found his way into politics, which is wild, and that is what is happening in some parts of the world. Politicians right from the time were criminals or involved in criminal activities even if they didn't use their hands to do their dirty jobs they found someone to do it for them for a price and that was how Thomas Shelby's life went on because he was used by top political figures to carry out orders that even the police won't get their hands on to avoid public distrust. The never-ending struggle for power and control was the main part of the show, as everyone wants to be on top, but not everybody can be the king.

The show also reflects on mental health struggles as the main characters were not mentally stable as they could have a breakdown at any moment. The current season I am on is mainly political, as it has to do with fascism, which has piqued my interest. The movie takes place in the 1930s, so there are different views as some people prefer communism, others socialism, and now there is fascism in the mix. In all this, the main character's goals are to make a lot of money, and they don't care if it is clean or dirty money as long as it is money.

Season 5 will be the best season for me, but I won't say that yet until I see how the last season's storyline ends. In two days, I should be done with the series and give my take on the conclusion of the series, so for now I will say goodbye and thanks for stopping by, have a good day.
