"Spanish Super Cup Drama: Unity, Rivalry, and Financial Fair Play"

Today I saw a tweet about the Spanish Football Federation asking FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid to help Osasuna with 200k euros from their Spanish Super Cup money which the three clubs agreed to do which just shows the sportsmanship Spanish clubs have among themselves regardless of their rivalry which can get intensive sometimes when they are at each other neck, but I want to point out something about Osasuna.

When the Super League saga hit the headlines a couple of weeks ago after the court ruled over FIFA and UEFA from banning any club that wish to participate in the Super Cup competition we saw a lot of clubs opting out from participating in the tournament as they drop statement on their various social media platforms and also leagues like EPL, Laliga Santander and Serie A released their statement about not supporting the court decision. Osasuna quoted Laliga's tweet which you can see from the image below which says EARN IT ON THE PITCH.

This is a breakdown of how the Spanish FA allocates for the Spanish Super Cup:
Real Madrid €6M
Barcelona €6M
Atletico Madrid €2.8M
Osasuna €0.9M

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid get the highest amount because they bring the most money in and have dominated the Super Club for a long time but Osasuna don't bring the highest poll and that is why they earn little. So Osasuna retweeted a post made by Laliga which I stated above and now they want to take out of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid money they earned which to me is not fair, what happened to earn it on the pitch because if we are being frank Osasuna should not get any money of those three clubs.

They talk all big but can't get the polls the three Spanish giants bring and to be honest the Super League will be a good opportunity for Osasuna to make money since they can't earn enough on the pitch. It sounds like I am trolling Osasuna and I want to clarify that yes I am indeed trolling them because they don't practice what they preach. Again I want to give a big applause to the big three for deciding to support Osasuna with €200k even though one of them is struggling financially(FC Barcelona) but still is selfless and is ready to lend a hand.

The winner of the Spanish Super Cup will earn an extra €2M added to the initial money shared by the Spanish Football Federation so it will be an extra bucks for Barca if they win and the club can use out of the money to get a defensive midfield in the ongoing January transfer window, that's if the FFP allows Barca to purchase a player since they have been on the clubs trail for a while now, but let's see how it turns out.

The Super Cup is already in motion and currently, Real Madrid are playing against Atletico Madrid. The game looks tight and I look forward to seeing how it will end. The defending Spanish Super Cup champions FC Barcelona will play against Osasuna tomorrow night, hopefully, Barcelona will beat Osasuna and head to the final and win the trophy this season.

So guys that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good evening.
