Real Madrid player Rodrygo is one to watch this summer as there is a possibility that he could leave the Galacticos if a good offer arrives from any club. Rodrygo, who has said countless times that he wants to be at Real Madrid for a long time now, is more on the exit road than staying at the club. This move was bound to happen anyway because since Mbappe joined the club, I just knew that Vinicius or Rodrygo would be leaving the club soon.

Rodrygo had a rough part last season as he was involved in a few matches and injuries played their role as well, which made the Brazilian drop in form last season. Honestly, Rodrygo is one Real Madrid player I would love to see play at the club, but that would be impossible as Barcelona won't even bother to make a bid, nor will Rodrygo accept to play for Barcelona. The Brazilian can play on the left wing, right wing and even as a false striker as he is a versatile player.

Xabi Alonso has taken over Ancelotti from the beginning of the World Cup, and although he has said positive things about Rodrygo, it doesn't show in his selection on the pitch. Rodrygo barely had minutes in the FIFA Club World Cup, as most of the time he started from the bench. In their last match against PSG Xabi Alonso said the reason Rodrygo was not featured in that match was due to technical reasons. It now seems that the statement alone proves my theory of Xabi Alonso not having Rodrygo in his plans for next season.

There have been multiple Real Madrid outlets that say Rodrygo, with his agent, will have a talk with Real Madrid on his future as the Spanish club is open to letting him go this summer. The only club that has been heavily linked with Rodrygo is Arsenal as multiple sources are saying the Gunners are looking to bring in the Brazilian to the club this summer. Arsenal are currently working on sealing Viktor Gyökeres' deal with Sporting CP soon. It has been a crazy saga between Gyökeres and Sporting, but everything should be done soon to close the deal.

It will be the best for Rodrygo to leave Real Madrid now because I don't think there is a place for him in that club anymore and Arsenal would be the best move for the Brazilian to start a new chapter in his career and I am sure he will be getting playing time to get in shape before the World Cup next year. The meeting should be held this week, and in the coming days, we will see how the Rodrygo situation will develop at Real Madrid if a possible exit could be a reality this summer.

This story is one to watch this summer and I will be following up for more updates that will drop in the coming weeks. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
