Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The weekend fixtures have come to an end as we saw some incredible matches played in different leagues. FC Barcelona 7-1 trashing against Valencia and Manchester City comeback against Chelsea as Pep Guardiola's men move to the top four on the league table as they are pushing to close down the gap between them and Liverpool for the title race this season, but today I want to give a little update on the Rashford situation happening in the transfer window.

Marcus Rashford, yet again, was not included on the team list for the match against Fulham on Sunday. The Englishman was not even on the bench and when the Manchester United coach was asked about the Rashford situation he said that he is only worried about the players who work hard on the training ground which just made it even more clear that Manchester United manager doesn't see Rashford in his long time plan with the club as that Rashford chapter with United is about to end soon.

In my last post, I gave details that the only way was opened for Marcus Rashford to join Barcelona was if Ansu Fati left the club this January and the other alternative was Eric Garcia's possible departure from the club as Como and Girona were close to signing the Spanish defender this January, but everything changed after Eric Garcia leveller goal against Benfica in the Champions League last week. Hansi Flick was asked about the Eric Garcia situation and the manager said he wants him at the club as he has a place in his plan at the club.

Fabregas( Como manager) also confirmed that the deal was off when Eric Garcia scored that goal for Barcelona. It seems the Rashford move to Barcelona might not just happen as we approach the deadline day for the winter transfer window. There are reports that Barcelona is still very much in contact with Rashford and is exploring other options as the club told Ansu Fati that the doors are open for him to leave this winter, but Fati like I said in my other post, wants to stay and succeed at the club without a doubt.

There is still some time left before the transfer window ends, so it is not ruled out yet if Ansu Fati will still be at the club this year, as anything might happen in the coming days. It will be nice to have Rashford at Barcelona, as Hansi Flick has already expressed his desire for Rashford to join the club this winter, but that all depends on how Deco and Laporta will be able to pull it off even without the departure of Ansu Fati or any other player. I am looking forward to the coming days to see how this transfer saga ends on deadline day as we may be in for a surprise on the last day.

So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
