Pedri Vs Bellingham Debate

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. About a year ago, if I remember correctly, I talked about how Pedri is a better midfielder than Bellingham, and this comparison will be the last time I will be writing about it because the evidence is out there now for everyone to see how insane playing Pedri is on the field. Two years ago, the talk of who is a better midfielder between Pedri and Bellingham sparked the internet as many football fans dropped their opinions on the subject, with the majority choosing Bellingham during that time because he was having a stellar year with Real Madrid.

Bellingham is a good player, but my stand has not changed that Pedri is better than the Englishman. Bellingham scored goals during his first season at Real Madrid, which made many believe he was an extraordinary midfielder and had more impact on the pitch than Pedri. That same year, Pedri was suffering from injuries as the Spanish midfielder was having recurring injuries, which saw him miss almost half of the season, and I remembered saying that a fully fit Pedri would outperform what Bellingham was doing that season without goals, and last season just proved that statement.

This season was perfect for Pedri as there were changes in the player's fitness with no injuries taking the Spanish midfielder out for a month. In 2025, Pedri won the man of the match award 15 times out of 20 games, and the amazing part is that the Spanish midfielder won it without scoring a goal or providing an assist in some of the matches, which is crazy. A midfielder winning the man of the match award without scoring or assisting a goal speaks volumes about how impactful he was in the match for the officials to give him that title at the end of the match.

Bellingham last season was a shadow of himself, which proves my point from the get-go that without goals, the Englishman has no major impact on the team, but he finds a way of making himself look busy on the pitch. Barcelona and Real Madrid faced each other four times last season, and in all four matches, Pedri outclassed Bellingham on the pitch. There was nothing the Englishman could do when he faced Barcelona and each game Pedri was part of the highlight of the match. Spain's recent matches against Turkey further back my statement about Pedri, as he had a 10/10 performance against Turkey.

Bellingham is a good player, like I said earlier, but at this point, comparing him to Pedri now is just a joke because the Spanish midfielder is miles ahead of the Englishman. There will still be some fans who will disagree with my take on this faded debate, as they still would say Bellingham is better, which they are entitled to their opinions, but it does not take human beings with two clear eyes to see that Pedri is the top without a doubt. So that will be all from this topic. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
