Pedri Signs New Contract With Barcelona

Today was a big day for FC Barcelona and Pedri as the Spanish midfielder signed a contract extension which will be valid till 2030 as they club official social media account posted and Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the news today. FC Barcelona's supporting Director Deco was key to making this deal happen and also Pedri was a huge factor as he said earlier last year that he is not worried about the negotiations going on between his agent and the club.
Pedri is an important player for Barcelona, and as we all know, he is a key player in the midfield role for Barcelona as he qualities are top-notch when he is fully fit to play. Pedri contract renewal was never a problem according to different sources as the player has said he wants to stay many years at the club. The details to the new contract has not been released yet but the release clause for Pedri is about a billion euros which just shows the club has locked the Spanish midfielder for any potential clubs that will be looking to trigger his release clause in the next future.
Deco has been working behind closed doors to see that Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Gavi, Lamine Yamal, and Inigo Martinez get their renewal happen as soon as possible. Gavi was also part of today's excess at the office to get his signature on his new contract. Barcelona have made it clear that these players are untouchable and have a long-term goal with them at the club as they are the future of the club. Pedri and Gavi deals are now settled, which will give room for Deco to focus on a new deal for Lamine Yamal, which I think will be very attractive as he is already a sensational star at the club.
Barcelona will do everything to make Lamine Yamal comfortable at the club, and I am 100% sure his release clause will definitely hit a billion for sure once all the documents are signed. Barcelona's future is in safe hands and the beauty of it is that these players are from their academy aspects from Pedri who was bought from Las Palmas, but still it is the best investment the club made in 2020.
Raphinha is also going to be offered a new contract soon, which I am sure the Brazilian will take the renewal, but no details yet on that subject. Deco has been impressive so far as Barcelona supporters directors even when there were doubts he would lace Alemany(former sporting director for Barcelona) boots when he assumed the role at the club.
