Good day, everyone, and welcome to the blog. FC Barcelona are having a solid performance in the transfer market, and although the players coming in have been a central topic for weeks now, today I want to talk about one player who is set to leave the club this summer. Pablo Torre has been one of the names on the outgoings list this summer for Barcelona as the youngster is on the verge of joining Mallorca on a permanent deal, as club-to-club talks are still going on between the Spanish clubs.

FC Barcelona doesn't want to lose control of the player as they want a buy-back clause in the deal, so that if Barcelona decides they want Pablo Torre, then they can trigger the buy-back clause on the contract. There are many other clubs interested in signing Pablo Torre this summer, but Mallorca seems to be the one leading the race for the Spanish player, and there is new information that Ajax is pressing to hijack the deal from Mallorca. There has been no green light yet given by Pablo Torre to Mallorca as personal terms are still being discussed between both parties.

Pablo Torre is in no rush to make a decision as he is exploring all his options to choose a project that will benefit him in the long run. Last season, Pablo Torre barely got game time as Hansi Flick rarely used the Spanish midfielder, but when Torre was given a chance to play, he certainly delivered for the team, which just shows the quality the youngster possesses, which is not being utilised well in Barcelona. Hansi Flick is not the problem here as the midfield position is crowded with players at their best form, so I understand why Hansi Flick rarely plays Torre.

This is the best way for things to go for Pablo Torre as he will be at a club that will guarantee minutes for him on the pitch. The Spanish midfielder's story is not over at Barcelona because of the buy-back clause in the deal, because if he turns out just fine and improves his quality, Barcelona will come back for the player. The race is still very much open to sign Pablo Torre this summer, and in the coming weeks, we will find out if he chooses to go for Mallorca or another club in Europe.

FC Barcelona still has a lot of players in the midfield position, and with Marc Bernal returning from injury, it will be tricky to see how Hansi Flick utilises the many resources he has in the midfield. Barcelona will begin their preseason tour in Japan a week from now, and we could see how Hansi Flick will set up his team with the inclusion of Nico Williams, as the release clause is expected to be paid this week. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
