"Navigating the Evolution: Web2 to Web3 Marketing Perspectives"

Source

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The socialfi has significantly changed over 20 years. I am sure that 20 years ago, many people would not believe the internet would evolve into what it is today. Web1, Web2 and now Web3 have grown from what they used to be in web1 and now we are seeing a whole new level of socialFi experience in web3 which has been amazing to me and many other ls who are actively participating in web3 platforms and incorporating the technologies in our web2 social networks.

Web3 has hit the world with its significant change from web2 because it has offered way more than what web2 is offering presently and this has seen a lot of users from web2 switch to web3 or like I said before incorporating both technologies together to pursue their goal in the socialfi space. There is no doubt a huge difference when it comes to marketing on web2 and web3. Web2 is a centralized place, and every decision made in the web2 space is made by a centralized entity that does not give room for decentralized operations.

Marketers in web2 have a static way of marketing, which is built on centralized platforms. Every big brand on web2 worked its way to the top through partnerships with top brands, getting top influencers into their brand for marketing strategy because once the larger audience spots a top influencer on a brand they will be willing to participate in whatever the brand has to offer. This is why most times it is difficult to bring in big brands from web2 into web3 because most of them feel they have already put in a lot of work into being where they are and how to shift to another platform which has a new system would be challenging to fit them.

The web2 space lacks one important aspect, and that is the lack of data privacy. In centralized base platforms, monetization is controlled by centralized entities, and this has cost a lot of personal information being linked on the Web without permission from the owner. This has allowed marketing strategies to gather information and optimize their strategies in promoting their brand, but the case is different in web3.

Web3 gives users the full authority to own and manage their accounts and information. In a way, this has made it hard for marketers to get the necessary information they need to determine what content needs to be put out in the web3 space because they have to respect the privacy of all users. Marketers have been involved and have built trust with users by creating voting pools, which allow users to give their consent on projects and brands.

The marketing strategy within web3 is different from what is going on in web2 and although some few projects are trying to incorporate that same strategy in the web2 space which seems to be turning out fine for their project and one of these projects will be $BUBBLE which is a gaming platform has taken engagement in web2 to a whole new level. Web3 has always thrived on engagement, which has seen an increase in participation on the user's face, just take the Hive Zealy Campaign Outreach as an example.

It got a lot of users actively using the inleo UI for engagement, and we saw a lot of other brands coming in and marketing their brands through the zealy campaign. The big question is how was possible to get a lot of users active, and this is where tokenomics falls in as there was an evenly distribution of tokens among participants. Engagement is the driving key for marketers, and once a lot of web2 built-in brands notice this, it will be a tool they will leverage on because the audience in web2 platforms is high.

The graphic design industry is a big hit, and I am planning to take a course in one of the branches of graphic design. It has been something I have been taught about seriously but a few things are keeping me away from starting and once I can get past those things then it will be easy for me to start the graphic design journey. I will advise you to venture into it as well, there are a lot of graphic designs you can learn, just find the one that best suits you and give it your 100 per cent and within six months there should be progress.

So, guys, that will be all for now. Here is a link to the topic of today's Aprilininleo prompt. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
