Marcus Rashford To Barcelona Is Now A Possibility
Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The transfer window is still open as clubs are all out to get their target this summer for the upcoming season. It has been a crazy start to the week for Barcelona as the Nico Williams deal fell through, plus allegedly, news reports that La Liga linked Barcelona's financial details to Athletic Club, which influenced the deal between Nico Williams and Barcelona. There is still no official statement from the club concerning this news, and like I said, if this turns out to be true, then the club shouldn't let it slide and file a lawsuit against the parties responsible for the documents being linked to the Athletic Club.
The Nico Williams to Barcelona possibilities are over, as reported in this news, as Barcelona plans were to push for Luis Diaz, but now it's becoming more unlikely to get the Colombian winger this summer. Liverpool has already made their intentions known to Bayern Munich and Barcelona that they are not interested in negotiating for Luis Diaz this summer. Bayern Munich has accepted the message and are now exploring other options for a new winger this summer, while Barcelona are still trying to see if they can initiate a conversation with Liverpool.
Luis Diaz is keen on the move, according to Fabrizio Romano, which means direct contacts have already been made by Barcelona. This deal is not complicated as it is just Liverpool that needs to give in to the Barcelona bid so talks can begin, but so far nothing has come up to show this deal can be a possibility that is why there is still uncertainty about how it will turn out in the coming weeks. Rashford has been in the picture since the start of the January transfer window and the Englishman is keen on the move to Barcelona. The Catalan club are beginning to find the possibility of bringing Rashford into the club this summer.
Hansi Flick has given the green light for the club to sign Rashford, but Barcelona wants a loan deal which Manchester United are ready to accept. Manchester United will accept the deal if there is a mandatory option to buy the player in the deal. Rashford is not the club's first option as I doubt Barcelona will sign Rashford permanently from Manchester United for the long run at the club. The club's stance could change if Rashford delivers a good performance this coming season, then the club may trigger the buy option on the player.
Rashford is willing to take a pay cut of 50% of his salary to facilitate the move to Barcelona, which just shows how the Englishman has given priority to only Barcelona this summer. Rashford has other options on the table, but until the deadline day, if the move to Barcelona is not certain, then he will look at his other options. This deal will happen since Hansi Flick has given the green light, and in the coming weeks, we will see how it develops. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day
