Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. It has been a long week with the Joan Garcia saga on the transfer market between FC Barcelona and the player camp on terms with a personal deal. Still, now everything has been sorted out, and the player has given the green light to FC Barcelona to go ahead and trigger the 25 million euro release clause with Espanyol. It has already been confirmed by multiple sources that Joan Garcia has given the green light. Still, it has not been made official as Barcelona informed Joan Garcia's camp that they will pay the 25 million euros next week.

Everything will be made official by next week once Barcelona pays the release clause, and we will be seeing the official post on FC Barcelona's social media to welcome the new and first signing of FC Barcelona this summer window. Before the green light was given by Joan Garcia the Catalonia goalkeeper wanted to be assured of playing time at the club as he doesn't want to come into the club and be on the sidelines. This was the main plot when the negation was going on over the past week, as Barcelona's initial plan was to bring in Garcia and then loan him out to another club, but he didn't like the proposal for the club.

Deco and Hansi Flick were key parts of this negotiation in convincing the Catalonia goalkeeper to join the club, as they assured him that he would be a key part of the first team next season. These assurances have now created a hostile environment for Marc Andre Ter Stegen, which many would say is not there, but it is bound to happen soon. Ter Stegen is still on contract with Barcelona and could decide to stay or leave this summer, but with certain interviews with the German media, Ter Stegen has said no one has told him anything, and he will be at Barcelona next season.

There are multiple reports that Barcelona is going to sit down with Ter Stegen, pay all his remaining wages in the contract, and offer him a free pass to join any club he wants in this summer window. This will be one of the hardest things Deco and Laporta will have to do this summer if this news is true and I can't help but feel sad, but the truth is the club has to start to think with their heads and not with their hearts because Ter Stegen has not been performing at his best for so long in the club and the team needs a young goalkeeper who is at the highest level in his performance which is what Joan Garcia will bring to the team next season.

There will definitely be more to this saga in the coming weeks because I am sure it will not end well. After all, two things are going to happen, which are: either Ter Stegen leave this summer or witness being sidelined on the bench next season. After all, I know Hansi Flick won't be giving him playing time when Joan Garcia is at his fit and much more infective in the goalpost. It's still a long summer and we wait to see how this situation develops in the coming weeks. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
