Garnacho's Story With Manchester United Is Over As He Moves To Chelsea
Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. It was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano today that Alejandro Garnacho's move to Chelsea has been approved, as the Argentine is no longer a Manchester United player. This move has been on the transfer news for a while now, and it's over. Garnacho instigated this move to Chelsea as the Argentine didn't want to continue at the club anymore, and there have been talks that the Manchester United manager doesn't seem to have the youngster in his long-term plan at the club.
Talks between Chelsea and Manchester United for Garnacho have been on for weeks and it got to a point where the deal felt like it got to a stalemate as Garnacho warned that if he doesn't leave Manchester United this summer then they should expect him to be at the club but won't play as he will be on the beach throughout the season. It was a bold statement from the young player which surprised me and showed his desire to leave Manchester United at all costs this summer.
Chelsea were not only the club that had interest in Garnacho, as other clubs outside England were pushing to sign the Argentine winger, but he refused as he only wanted to play in the Premier League and nowhere else in Europe. Napoli made an inquiry, but Garnacho stood on his choice of remaining in the Premier League, and when Chelsea came, he gave his full priority to the Blues. Manchester United agreed on a fee of 40 million euros to seal the deal. I would say it's a fair deal and not that expensive and I have a good feeling that Garnacho will play well at Chelsea.
Personal terms were agreed upon as it was not an issue with both parties, as the Argentine agreed to a seven-year deal with Chelsea. The way Chelsea gives long-term contracts shocks me sometimes, but it seems to be working for them, and that is good. Garnacho's story with United is over and I think some United fans may be recent for leaving but I can't blame the young lad. The club in question has been doing poorly these past few years, and it's not as if they don't have the money to spend, but I think the winning mentality and within the club, something is happening that we may not know.
It was surprising to me that Benjamin Sesko picked Manchester United over Newcastle United who will be playing in the Champions League and are doing much better than Manchester United in the Premier League. Players like Rashford, Anthony and Sancho are opting to leave the club at all costs this summer because they don't want to stay anymore. Garnacho, in the next few days, will sign his contract with Chelsea and perform all the necessary medical tests before being integrated into the team. I wish him the best of luck in his new journey. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
