FC Barcelona's Dominant 4-1 Victory: Raphinha's Hat-Trick and Fermin Lopez's Breakout Performance
Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Wow, what a night it has been! I can't believe it finally happened last night. The Champions League continues on Wednesday, and as I said in my last post, the match of the week will be FC Barcelona Vs. Bayern Mu, as both teams wanted to make a statement today, especially FC Barcelona. When I first saw the lineup, I was skeptical about Fermin Lopez starting instead of Dani Olmo or Frenkie De Jong, but I was sure Hansi Flick was going to deliver regardless of how he makes the lineup, and well, he did deliver as Barcelona trashed Bayern 4-1 last night.
Raphinha opened the scoreline in the early first after the referee blew his whistle, and Fermin Lopez was the one who provided the assist to the goal. Bayern got control of the game for sixteen minutes as they held position and each time Barcelona players got the ball the Bayern players kept pressing not allowing Barcelona to build up from the back it did not take long before Harry Kane equalized for Bayern and I was kind of worried, but everything changed in the 30 plus minutes as Barcelona got their lead back and this time Lewandoski finally scored against his former club and again Fermin Lopez provided another assist.
I was worried about Fermin Lopez, and the youngster already provided two assists in 30-plus minutes of the first half. Fermin Lopez is not talked about much, and the work that boy puts on the field is insane. Barcelona increased their lead to two goals on the brink of halftime, and again, Raphinha found the back of the net. The Brazilian has been on fire this season, and I am happy Raphinha chose to stay in Barcelona this season. Marc Casado provided the assist for Raphinha's second goal, and I have to say this again: La Masia is the best academy in the world.
Marc Casado has been superb this season, which is also his first professional season as a first-team player for Barcelona. It was an incredible first half to watch, but Barcelona was not done yet as they secured their win in the 56th minute of the second half and again Raphinha found the back of the net to complete his hat-trick. Lamine Yamal provided the assist for the goal; what else can I say about Lamine Yamal? Because I have said it all, this boy is just 17 years old and is already among the best players in the world.
Lamine Yamal was just toying with Gnabry and gave Alphonso Davies a run for his money. Lamine Yamal is outplaying men who have more experience than him on the pitch. Laporta made the right decision, rejecting that 250 million euro bid made by PSG last summer. Lamine Yamal is going to be a Ballon d'Or contender next year. Just wait and watch. It will happen, and there is no doubt even now that he is going to win the Young Best Player of the Year award in the Ballon d'Or event next week.
Pedri was magical last night, too, but I will talk about him properly in my next post. Barcelona now has one more test, and that will be against Real Madrid in the El Clasico this Saturday. This El Clasico is a must-watch because it's going to be Aura for Aura, and I trust Hansi Flick and the boys will deliver this weekend. The match again was incredible. These words alone can't express the joy I am feeling right now. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping b,y, and have a good day.
