FC Barcelona Winger Situation

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The summer window is still ongoing, and we have seen many clubs signing players of their choice. Still, one thing that has struck me as a Barcelona fan is what is happening with the club because we are now in mid-July, and nothing has been made concrete on the winger the club is pushing for this summer. It has been a back-and-forth case since the start of the summer and I can't help but wonder if Deco is doing his job as a sporting director. Barcelona has only managed to secure two signings this summer and one of them is greatly appreciated because it needed to be done.

The signing of Joan Garcia was needed to upset Marc Andre Ter Stegen's position at the club because he is far too comfortable being the number one goalkeeper for years now. Joan Garcia deal is done and dusty which every Barcelona fan is happy about, but the real question is if the registration of Joan Garcia for next season will happen and I just hope there won't be any saga regarding registration once the season starts, because at will be embarrassing if up to now the club is still finding it difficult to operate back to the 1:1 rule.

The winger situation, which I believe should have been sorted from the beginning of July, is still ongoing, and it's becoming ridiculous. Nico Williams rejected the club yes that is not news again and we are quite past that story and now who the club is going after currently is still undecided because today rumours will spread that the club is pushing for Marcus Rashford then the next day there will be another rumour that Barcelona is still finding ways to bring Luis Diaz but the deal is complicated. This has been the story for the past two weeks now, and I am getting frustrated because Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, and Barcelona rivals have spent over 100 million euros this summer on bringing new players.

The easiest player for Barcelona to go for this summer is Rashford as the Englishman is ready to come to the club. There are even reports that Rashford is willing to take a pay cut to join Barcelona, but the club is still exploring their options on the table, which is understandable, but how long are they going to explore their options before they finally make a decision? Before the transfer window, the list of wingers that were on the list were Rafael Leao, Luis Diaz, Lookman and Rashford. Barcelona is only linked now with two names out of the four, and yet nothing has been done to secure any of the players.

Deco has to speed up whatever he is doing to bring a winger this summer. The Luis Diaz deal is quite complicated as Liverpool doesn't want to sell, but Diaz is keen on an exit from the club. It all depends on the fee Liverpool will ask if they change their mind this summer. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
