FC Barcelona Still Eyes Luis Diaz
Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The summer transfer window is about to get more active as clubs are already signing and convincing players to join their side next season. Manchester City has been one of the active clubs in the transfer window as they are gearing up for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup. Manchester City has spent a lot of money in getting new players into the club this past few weeks and all the players signed are top talents that will make a difference on the pitch next campaign season.
Today, I want to give more thought to the ongoing topic between FC Barcelona fans lately on different social media platforms. Luis Diaz has been one of the reoccurring names on every Barcelona fan since the year began as FC Barcelona sporting director(Deco) wants to bring the Colombian winger into the club next season. According to some sources, which I mentioned earlier in my post, there is a possibility that the asking price for Luis Diaz will be up to 80 million euros, and this is where some Barca fans are having issues with what Decon is about to negotiate with Liverpool.
The fan base is split as some don't want Barcelona to sign Daiz mainly because of his age as they don't see Luis Diaz as part of a long rebuild process in the future of the club. Nico Williams has been one of the players Barcelona fans want the club to sign, but I doubt Deco will be pushing to get Nico Williams as the Spanish player turned down the offer last summer window and Deco gave a quote on how the Barcelona train only passes once as the club don't come back to convince a player again to the join the club.
Liverpool has publicly shown that they have no plans to sell Luis Diaz and the player also has expressed his loyalty to Liverpool and will only leave if the clubs want him to be sold. My honest opinion on the Luis Diaz saga is Barcelona should go for a younger winger that will be at the club for many seasons which is why Nico Williams should be the preferable candidate for Barcelona to sign this summer. Deco is not backing down from trying to get Luis Diaz this summer as the Colombian player is on top of his list for wingers this summer.
Luis Diaz is an incredible player, honestly, and his performance against Argentina shows how good the Colombian is with the ball and would blend well in Hansi Flick's squad for next season. There are other names on the list like Barcola from PSG, Rashford, and Rafael Leao are on the list for wingers. It will be interesting to see how this Luis Diaz saga comes to an end during the summer window. So, guys, that will be for now. I will be following the story forward and drop the updates for the community. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
