FC Barcelona Kicks Off Preseason Tour And Ansu Fati Set Back In Training

Source

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. FC Barcelona officially kicked off their preseason tour last week and are already in the United States of America for their US preseason tour. FC Barcelona will face Real Madrid, Manchester City, and AC Milan in the US for the three preseason matches in the US. These matches are shocking because they are against three incredible teams in Europe and are also a test to see if the boys are ready for the new campaign season coming up next month.

Some football fans say preseason matches don't matter, but I can say for a fact that Real Madrid vs. FC Barcelona is not going to be a friendly match but a score to settle against rivals. The preseason matches lineup is a good start and opportunity to see what Hansi Flick can do with the current available squad at his disposal and if he will bring trophies home this season because that is what every Barcelona fan wants this season.

The preseason squad list was released yesterday, and I saw Hansi Flick a lot of players on the list, especially from the La Masia academy. It will be a huge opportunity for the players to give their best and prove to Hansi Flick why they need to be promoted to the first team this season. There were few names missing on the list, and one of them was Ansu Fati, who has returned back from the loan and is now part of the team.

There have been some growing concerns during his time at Brighton if he will stay at Barcelona was his loan time expires or if they club will sell him in the summer window but that tension has seemed to have gone down since Hansi Flick has declared he will give Ansu Fati a chance and wants the youngster to stay at the club. It is not just words Hansi Flick spoke as he backed it up with actions as I saw clips of Ansu Fati doing a separate drill training from the rest of the team, which was instructed by Hansi Flick.

There were reports that Hansi Flick was impressed with Ansu Fati on the training group and honestly I hope he will be part of the US preseason tour to show that he has what it takes to earn his spot back at the starting lineup, but eventually the same issues he has been battling for two years now cut up to Ansu Fati again as he picked up an injury on his foot during training. When I saw the news posted on Barcelona's official page, I felt sad because Ansu has been unlucky with injuries, and this is not the time for him to get an injury.

Hansi Flick still made his intentions known to Ansu Fati that despite the injury, he still wants Ansu Fati in his team. Hopefully, Ansu recovers quickly before the season kicks off because I really want to see him on the pitch again in the Barca colours. So, guys, that will be all for now. I am looking forward to the preseason matches, and I will keep you all updated. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.

It's painful how far Fati has been from his potential, no thanks to injury.
A player that was once considered the heir to Lionel Messi.
Just hope he can hit form again and stay injury free.
