Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Today FC Barcelona played their second match away from home against Levante in La Liga. Before the match, the starting lineup was released, and I saw Rashford, along with Marc Casado, who has been the trending topic in Barcelona, both made the list. This was Rashford's first starting match, and I had high hopes for the Englishman to deliver a good performance against Levante today. The first half of the match started smoothly, and Barcelona was trying to break Levante's low block defence.

This is one thing I detested from some low-level La Liga teams. They are ready to put 11 players on the defence as long as they walk away with a point they are okay with that result. Levante scored two goals in the first half and put up a low block defence that made it hard for Barcelona to penetrate and score a goal, but I was not worried as I had full faith that Barca would win the match. The second half began, and in no time, Barcelona scored a goal, which was an absolutely beautiful goal scored by Pedri.

It didn't take long before Barcelona levelled the scoreline and this time the goal was scored by Ferran Torres. The Spanish forward stepped up after missing a perfect chance in the first half. Sometimes it is hard to understand Ferran Torres because on the other side, he is good off the bench, but when he starts matches, it just seems like he is not clinical on the attack. Honestly, I think once Lewandowski is fully fit Ferran Torres should start from the bench. The third goal came late in the 90-plus minutes from a cross from Lamine Yamal, but it was deflected into the goalpost by a Levante defender.

It was a good game and Barcelona still shows that they can outscore their opponents if they concede one or two goals. It is the same pattern as last season, which is why the defence needs to be worked on this season to reduce the number of goals the team concedes in a match. Rashford played only 45 minutes in the first half, and I will say his performance was okay, as he is still new in the team, so he needs time to blend with the new system. I am looking forward to seeing him play more games with the club.

Raphinha as a ten was not all good today, but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because it's the first time this method is being tried out this season. The new position may work out in the long run for Raphinha, but for now, we wait and see how Hansi Flick plans to utilise Raphinha in that position for the rest of the season. It was a good game, and the important takeaway from the match is that Barcelona left with the three important points. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
