Exploring Telegram’s TON Ecosystem and the Rise of Tap-To-Earn Games

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. So today, I will be looking into Telegram, TON Ecosystem, and the Tap To Earn games happening on Telegram. Telegram is one of the top social media apps in the social ecosystem and has grown massively in the space of a year since one of the most influential tap-to-earn games (NOTCOIN) broke records in the crypto space and got many more users into Telegram.

Telegram is not a new app to me as I have been using it for about three to four years now, and one of the main reasons I started using Telegram was to down my favorite animes since jumping for the different sites was not advisable because of hackers. It was easy to access a lot of anime and download it into my media. Since then, I became a regular user of the app even before it began reaching new heights in the social media ecosystem.

Telegram games became more popular this year when the founder, Durov, was arrested by the French authorities upon his arrival in France about a month ago. According to different sources, the French government wanted to have access to data in Telegram, but Durov was not ready to share information about his app with the French government as he believed it threatened the full essence of free speech. Durov has been an advocate of free speech and said that is what he is building with Telegram, but the French government has other things in mind as they see it as a threat. The good news is that Durov has been released by the French authorities but won't be allowed to leave the country.

TON was founded by Telegram CEO Durov and his brother. About three years ago, no one expected TON to be as big as it is now in the crypto ecosystem, and from the looks of things, it is just the beginning as TON is already expanding its ecosystem like wildfires on and off Telegram. TON has made significant progress as it got listed on one of the world's most popular exchanges in the crypto space (Binance) and another CEX exchange this year alone, and I have seen an increase in the value of the token as it has created many utilities, which brought progress to the TON blockchain.

NOTCOIN is one of the popular tap-to-earn games that took Telegram by storm and rewarded the community heavily for their active participation in the game unfortunately, apart from DOGS, there has not been any tap-to-earn game that has been able to match up to what NOTCOIN and DOGS have achieved so far on the TON ecosystem. More tap-to-earn games are being created on Telegram, and some of them didn't meet the community's expectations, which has brought up a lot of questions about whether the era of tap-to-earn games has come to an end.

Telegram has been the social media of the year for many and I have as well benefited from the social media app. There is still a long road ahead for the TON blockchain and we will likely see more innovation into the TON Ecosystem soon.
