Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. It's finally the big day for the most-watched football match in club football, showcasing the greatest rivalry that extends beyond the field, as both teams have been at each other's throats since the 1960s. The El Clásico is one of the biggest games in football, and today, the two giants of Spain will go head-to-head against each other for the important three points in the league.

Last season, El Clásico was nothing but a domination from FC Barcelona as the Catalan side won all four meetings when they faced Real Madrid. It was the breaking point that made Ancelotti decide it was time to leave the club and join the Brazilian national team as head coach. Hansi Flick in his first season as Barcelona coach was able to win one of the toughest fixtures in Spain and although he won't be present at the bench because of the Red card he received during the Girona match last week, I will not bother if the result doesn't go the way many Barcelona fans wanted which is a win.

There has been a lot of heated conversation on the internet since Thursday, leading up to the match, and what made the ticking bomb explode was when Lamine Yamal said some things in an interview on a podcast. There have been reports that the Real Madrid dressing room is not happy with some of the comments he made about the club which are entirely true. There are even reports that say Dani Carvajal will talk to Lamine Yamal after the El Clásico match, which I don't think is necessary, because why try to silence the young player because of a few words he has said, which are true, because Real Madrid does get favoured from refereeing decisions.

The match is just an hour from now to begin, and honestly, I am having doubts that Barcelona will leave with the three points. This is simply because of the recent performances of the team and the injuries that have taken out key players for the game. Lewandowski and Raphinha, who were the main figures alongside Lamine Yamal in last season's El Clásico winning streak, will be out for the match. It went so badly that Ferran Torres, who just got back from injury and is not 100 per cent yet, is likely going to start the match this afternoon. So yes I am having a lot of doubts going into the match.

On the other hand, if Barcelona can win this match, it will be a disgrace to Real Madrid as their loss streak will increase and Lamine Yamal's words will hit them harder at the end of the final whistle. It is going to be a tough match, and may the best team walk away with the three points. So guys that will be all for now, and see you all after the match for more updates. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
